I bought this to add to the battery supply for my new Sony camera. The first time it charged I thought the battery life got exhausted rather quickly. The next charges seem to be holding up but in my view it seems to just barely last 200 shots. But i guess YMMV depending on the weather, temperature, and type of use.
I bought generic batteries to supplement as I could not bear the thought of paying another $56 for another battery,

This is a good accessory but I wish the tripod would extend to become a more usable tripod instead of just a hand-held device. Its solidly built, a bit too bulky for my taste, but I am getting the hang of it.
Its very easy for my fingers to press the wrong button and I actually mistakenly turned off the video recording of NYE festivities as I mistakenly pressed the off button while recording. So, lesson learned.
Only other advantage I see is that its compatible to other Sony products so its useful in my son's A7C.

Good camera (Wish I had more $$ for another model)

Its a good camera. I was really looking for a device that can take better quality photos than my iPhone.
Its got a 1-inch sensor that I like, as it has excellent low-light capabilities. Its portable/pocketable, which is what I need as I do travel. I don't have much use for its vlogging capability but its good to know I have it available.
I'm a little disappointed in the zoom range and I wish it could zoom up to 120 mm.
I bought this as a compromise on price, as I really did not have the money to spring for a 6700 APS-C or the A7C, both with multiple lenses and each setup will set me back about $2500. This camera, together with the accesory vlogging, subcardiod mic and extra batteries (off Amazon) set me back a little $1000. Its a bit pricey for what I consider as a glorified point and shoot.
I do have an issue with the movie button and the other buttons on top as my fingers were used to manipulate Nikon and older model Sonys and cellphones, so I kept messing up/triggering the video button by mistake. In time I will sort it out.
Is it worth it? I would say 90% yes, as a part of me still longed for either the A7C or the 6700 with the multiple lenses. But then again, budgets are real.

I wish I bought the 4K ultra HD, I mistakenly thought I only had a blu-ray player. The 4k ultra hd might also have contained more BTS content. I kinda wanted more BTS content, and a gag reel.
That said, this is a phenomenal accomplishment - showing more refined character development. It makes me mad that Josh Whedon gave us the chopped up version in the cinemas.
