Upgrade from the K70

I had a K70 for the last ten years and this is a nice upgraded version.
While I loved my K70, the little details on the newer versions really made me want to make the switch. The wrist rest insert is removable making it easier to clean and the media buttons are taller now, making them easier to access.
The RGB is extremely simple to adjust using Corsair's iCue software. It's plug and play although I did have some issues using the software while plugged into a USB 3.0 port. Once I switched it back to a 2.0 port everything went back to normal. I'm not sure why it glitches on 3.0, but that's a disappointment. It's 2020, you'd think everything would be 3.0 compatible. I had to dock a star for this.
The response on the MX Speed switches is good, but took some getting used to after years of typing/playing on MX Browns. I found myself accidentally pressing keys. The macros are an added feature that I didn't have on my K70 and I probably won't use them but my son will likely program them for his various games. I find myself pressing the G1 and G6 when trying to press Escape or CTRL. I'm sure I'll get used to them eventually, so that's not really a con.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with the keyboard and I haven't missed my K70 yet. I've gamed on it a few times and haven't noticed any issues.

Great Mouse but with a few minor setbacks

At first, I thought this mouse was the one for me. I have large hands and the longer body was a great fit when using it for day-to-day tasks.
After a night of gaming, my hand started to cramp up because the mouse isn't quite wide enough to support the full width of my hand.
I also noticed a few other issues. First, the little LCD screen is fun and could have been useful if it wasn't on the front side of the mouse where you can't see it without craning your neck. Second, the mouse buttons were difficult to press unless your fingers are at least half way down them, although this could be a pro for some people. The side buttons were also distracting. While I thought I was going to like having them there, the hard edges weren't comfortable for long sessions.
The performance of the mouse was topnotch. It has a good weight and feel to it and it's responsive. The thumb rest was a nice bonus to prevent drag on the thumb side, but this was offset by it being too narrow and I ended up dragging my pinky finger on the other side of the mouse.
Overall, I was disappointed but this was really close to being a great mouse. I ended up returning it and getting something a little wider instead.
Keep trying CM, you're almost there :)

Good entry level earbuds

These have good sound and the mic picks up pretty well.
My biggest complaint is the charging case. It feels cheap and failed to stay shut in my pocket. I ended up adding a this steel plate inside so the magnetic lid would have something to grab on to.
The battery life is great, charging case is convenient to change them between uses.
I will say the earbuds do hurt my ears after extended use but that could just be my sensitive ears
Overall, I think these are great entry level earbuds to help you decide if wireless earbuds are your thing before you spend a lot of money on a high end set.
