The wireless rode go microphone is a very versatile, high end little package. Not only does it have great sound but it has a strong signal the can reach very very far. One unique feature is The receiver can be used as the mic itself or you can add this additional mic extension which is great for moving around and being active while recording. The receiver can clip somewhere safe or even go in a pocket while the mic extension clips on your shirt or lapel. It is a bit pricey and not all other mics can work with this specific model but again the versatility makes this mic a very good option.

The Sony Oled A8h takes tv watching to a whole new level. The difference between oled and led is very noticeable. Not only the pixel clarity is enhanced but the Sony processing is second to none. Yes Sony does use LG’s display panels but the Sony processing chip makes all the difference. In addition the image quality is better than the Qled tv. You will not be disappointed in this purchase.

This 4k, Dts:x, Atmos and Dolby Vision enhanced receiver will definitely not disappoint. Although it lacks wifi and preouts for external amps it has all the other bells and whistles of today’s top audio receivers. I was quite impressed with the sound quality of this entry level receiver. It’s dynamic, sharp and clean. It’s not very robust in the low end department but combined with a powered subwoofer you can have a really good beginner theater system.

I have an older Pioneer VSX 1020, can I use banana clips/plugs on my older model or need to buy a newer one. also, can I use the current speakers which are the ones that came with the unit

Will this stereo play simply 2 channel stereo sound at the rated 165 watts?
No. The ratings on today’s receivers are misleading. The 165 watt claim is usually based off of driving one channel at a time not all 7 simultaneously. If that was the case they would need much much bigger power supplies inside them. However when I measured it it measured at about 85 watts per channel simultaneously. But the sound quality was still very good.
