Functions as intended

Functions as intended. The only issue I had was installation error where I didn't get the ball-end lined up straight the first attempt. It tightened down and sealed, but developed a small leak after moving the dryer in to place. After re-seating it and tightening again, no issues. I'd recommend keeping the leak detection liquid for a little while after install just in case you need to re-check. And have a Gas Leak Sniffer if you will be doing this DYI. They can be found very cheap.

Vent is fine, clamps are absolute garbage

The clamps included in this kit are completely useless. Basically just uses a sheet metal screw through a crudely punched hole which are impossible to get to tighten around the duct without slipping off. They were the worst part of the entire washer and dryer installation. Do yourself a favor and get something else with a proper worm gear clamp.

This washing machine has been great for the month we've had it thus far. Large capacity and simple to use. The machine does vibrate a bit. The direct drive motor system does compensate to reduce the vibration, but we've found it almost impossible to get rid of it entirely through balancing it. It's not excessive, but could be annoying to some. The black steel surface also shows a lot of dust and lint and also scratches a bit easily.

So far we really love this machine. It does a terrific job, have not had a load yet come out damp, the steam is a nice feature. My only knocks against it would be the black steel finish does show scratches and lint/dust debris on the top surface very easily, and the short water hose to attach to the Y-fitting could be a little longer to make it easier to install. But overall, absolutely no issues with this machine thus far.
