Got this as an OS drive for a new build. It's being used in a Gen3 slot but at least I know that it will max that port out without breaking a sweat. The 980 Pro is Samsung's top tier and I can rest easy knowing everything is safe. Price recently dropped making this a no-brainer for the newest build.

I've been waiting for the price to drop on the 980 Pro line for a while now. They are as fast as described and I'm using this one for a game drive in a Gen4 slot. So far it's the fastest of any of the Gen4 SSDs I've tried so far in various AM4 builds.

So far so good. I got this for media backup storage and the price is hard to beat for the storage size. Transfer speeds are impressive for a non-SSD drive as well. I just hope it lasts as I have had some bad experiences with older WD drives having short lifespans but I've read good things about this one.

We've had this TV for nearly 5 years now and it's as impressive now as when we got it. We also have an LG C9 65" and this compares favorably with OLED but with out burn-in risk. Picture quality is just amazing and great for gaming once you turn off all the processing features. It's awesome that most apps support Dolby Vision with it as well even if the HDMI port doesn't.

I bought this for my gaming PC and it has been spectacular. 4K/120 Hz/G-Sync is the way to go. I'm only knocking a star off because of the constant update notifications every time I have to turn it on and because there's no easy way for my PC to wake this thing instead (takes forever to sleep) of having to turn it off.

4K great, but still not perfect

So glad these finally made it to 4K disc for a decent price. While the 2nd movie is the directors cut a bit of dialog is missing towards the end of the movie. I'm referring to the scene with Spock and Kirk in the Jeffries tube. This dialog dissapeared with the BD release from a couple of years ago. The digital versions are only the theatrical cuts as well which is kind of a bummer.

Good deal for a Gen4 2 TB drive

I bought this for under $200 and for a 2 TB Gen 4 drive, back in Aug 2022, that was a decent deal. It's been solid and stores most of my games. Load speeds are faster than a Gen3 but not hugely different. Recently did a crystaldiskmark test and it performed admirably but of course slower than a Samsung Pro but those do cost a bit more.
