Same Issue as others, Card not activated

I checked all my cards after reading other reviews and found that one of mine wasn’t working. When I reviewed the order details, I noticed Best Buy listed the gift card serial numbers there, and the nonworking card only showed a partial serial number.
I had to call customer support to get it sorted out, and now I have to drive to a Best Buy store to pick up a replacement because they won’t ship it out. Ironically, I bought Shell gift cards to save on gas, and now I’m wasting gas fixing their mistake.
If you order these online, double check that the serial numbers on the cards match what’s listed in your order details before gifting them. My guess is the barcode on one card was only partially scanned during activation, which turned it into my problem to deal with. Very frustrating.

Eventually my ears start to ache so I have to adjust it. I own the 7X as well and the cups are a bit deeper. Wish these were the same/

Mac Driver Issues

I got this printer so I could use wired and wirelessly. It was not plug and play on my Mac. It comes with a CD but who has a cd-drives on modern hardware? I go to the brother support site for the HL-L2305W and under driver it just says "We recommend using AirPrint. If your machine does not support AirPrint, download Brother iPrint&Scan from the App Store." Are you serious? There is a USB slot so they must be a driver somewhere.
I ended up downloading the driver pack for a similar printer (I think the HL-L2300D) and the HL-2305W printer worked without a problem. Ridiculous

Not perfect but totally worth it

Was it worth it? Yes. Will it aggravate you in that moment when you are exhausted and all you want to is relax and watch some tv? Possibly.
Setup was a breeze but I did learn a couple of things. I had to move the bridge closer to the sync box. Otherwise the lights (gradient strip in my case) would "lag" and color transitions were not that smooth. I also disabled auto switcher and didn't bother letting destiny determine if my ps, xbox or switch were going to display. This means I go into the app (hue sync app, not the hue app) to switch the inputs. Pressing the button on the sync box is also an option but the app works very well. In the 45 days or so of operation, I've only had the screen flicker twice as if it lost the connection. Not too bad.
It's pricey but you probably won't regret it. Find the hue subreddit and ask for assistance if you need it. Those folks try to help you out. Lastly, try medium intensity at half brightness and it will blend into the background making for a subtle addition to any show.

I got it so that I can actually hear the dialog in movies and not worry about constantly lowering and increasing the volume due to action scenes. Every once in a while it doesn't seem to come out of sleep mode and it's quite the drag getting it to work. It's paired up with a Sony X900F and a PS5. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars because taking a whole star seems harsh.

Troubleshooting is not fun

9 whole months of trouble-free operation. It was perfect... until 2 sensors went offline. Odd, I haven't changed anything. Called customer support and we spent a whole hour troubleshooting. In the end I was told to purchase another range extender. Fine, some cosmic shift in outer space must have changed the Z-Wave technology's ability to communicate with my sensors. I'll give them a pass. I spend a couple of six packs worth of cash on another range extender.
Fast forward a few days and a motion detector decides to get stuck detecting motion, yet the system still lets me arm it... causing the alarm to instantly go off. Sigh, can't wait to spend another hour troubleshooting.

- Yes this does fit with the original controller cover. It's tougher to close the cover but it does close all the way. I use it with my Elite controller
- It also fits the "Side Dock Charging Station for Xbox One X." Although the batteries that came with that dock don't have the metal connectors in the side of the battery, the dock has the grooves needed to fit the metal connectors on this spare battery. Very nifty

subpar experience

I've had these since release and its been a lame experience.
First the pros:
- The active noise cancellation (ANC) is good. Nothing compared to my sony xm3's but that is to be expected for a much smaller and convenient set of ear buds.
- Very convenient. I had the powerbeats pro for a week before I returned them. The beats sounded amazing but they provided almost no isolation and the case was massive. I could easily put these airpods in my tiny jean pocket.
- Noise isolation is pretty great. I like that they provide multiple tips so that you can pick the right one. Looking forward to the 3rd party marshmallow type tips

- Sometimes my iphone and ipad just wouldn't recognize that i took the pods out of the case and placed into my ear. Again more troubleshooting.
- Airpods should be synced up to all devices via iCloud... in theory. Sometimes I would be connected to my iphone and they wouldn't show up on my ipad as an option.

I suspect that my unit, especially my left ear bud may be defective. I don't have the same problem with the mx3's. I took my set to the apple store to troubleshoot. They are providing a replacement but I have to return in a few days to pick them up since they were out of stock. I'll add a comment if it turns out that they were simply defected... but for now, this is not an "excellent" product and overall just a fair set of wireless ear buds.

I really wanted to like these but they were missing a key feature that made me return them. They just don't isolate as well as my cheapo not so true wireless buds. Sure, you may not want to completely seal your ear from the outside world but the marketing claims noise isolation. I could hear every single thing around me in the gym and turning up the sound to compensate just gave me a headache. I tried every bud that they provided and ended up returning them.
I have to give it to them though, they sounded superb. They were very comfy. Oh well
