For me it's a good deal having an instant ink account. This card covers me in case I go over my monthly allotted pages. Which I doubt I will.

Pretty much all laptops no longer come with dvd drives. I bought this dvd drive to be able to install programs that I have on discs. I also use it to creat data disks and watch dvd movies that I own. It honestly does what it's supposed to and so far I have had no problems using it.

What I really like about Paintshop Pro 2019 is the ability to own it rather than renting it. I've had an older version of paintshop pro that I've been using for about 8 yrs, but that now I can't use since it's no longer compatible with the latest version of windows. Paintshop pro 2019 does way more than my older version. I don't like the renting part of Adobe photoshop, which is why I like paintshop pro way more. It's probably a great program too, but I dont have any experience with it. One of the main reasons I bought paintshop pro was to fix my kids flyaway hairs in pictures, I edit them to my liking. It's an easy program to figure out. If I dont know how to do something there are many YouTube tutorials available which I find helpful.

I have an HP laptop with intel core i5 7th Gen , that runs windows 10. I purchased it last year and everything is up to date. It will not work on it, but when I installed it on my old laptop that I do not use it actually worked, albeit a little slow. That one is an HP notebook pc with vision amd, that runs windows 7 (I either bought it in 2011 or 2012). I messaged the company and have not received a response as of yet.

Will this laptop be able to run The Sims 4 with the majority of the DLC packs plus about 69 GB of custom content (mods and custom content such as hairs, clothes, etc) without lagging and/or extremely long loading times?
No, unless you lower all the graphic settings and even then I've encountered some unfavorable issues. I specifically bought this computer to play the sims 4 on it. I have the majority of the dlc packs and other add ons. It's laggy and sometimes freezes on me. Loading isn’t any better. I do not use mods anymore and I'm glad I don't because I think that would make the game play worse. The freezing and lagginess kills my game play mood. I still think the computer is alright but again I lowered all my graphics to try and make it a smoother play. I also use it for other programs and it can still be laggy. Either way, I still like acer computers.

How long does the battery last?
Honestly to me the battery life isn’t long enough. So depending on what I'm doing on my computer I keep it plugged in. In less than 2 hrs it it will die on me. Maybe I'm spoiled by my other laptop computer which happens to be a different model but same brand, since it lasts way longer. Either way, if you're using it for gaming be prepared to be suddenly caught off guard and boom it's dead or dying. Just keep it plugged in if your using a game or program that uses up a lot of power.
