Wonderful picture but trouble with some disc menus

I've really enjoyed this unit. The HDR is sweet! However, it sometimes has trouble loading the buttons on certain uhds and blu-rays. I just stop the disc and hit play again and it works fine. Go figure. My firmware is current. Also, I own 2 UHD players and neither of them can rewind a dvd without freezing.

Along with the Guy Ritchie film "Snatch", my girlfriend says this is a perfect "chick flick". I don't quite understand that because both films are mainly populated by men. I think it has to do with the strong relationships between the main characters and the amount of adversity they have to overcome together. I'm sure it helps that it's also really funny. Nice picture and sound and decent special features. Watch the extended version, though.

I used to hate remotes and the fact that, if I lost one, there was no way to adjust anything on my TV or even change the channel. Heck, I had lost one of my favorite forms of exercise. Frankly, no remote had disabused me of this notion. Until I got this bad boy. Now I only have to play around with one remote and it controls all my different devices pretty well.

Much better than the book. I think the TV show uses the material better but this is a much better representation of the novel. Not really a lot like Silence of the Lambs as a sequel but to be fair, neither was the book. A real hoot. Image and sound are good as a representation of its time and it has all the special features from the old dvd.

Looks and sounds amazing. The menu is silent so adjust your volume beforehand although I recommend playing this movie LOUD. On the disc fan Alex Ross describes it as a rock opera which is dead-on. I almost feel it would work better as a silent movie with just the music and no dialogue. A real meal which I think struggles to maintain its tone. If you love this movie though, THIS IS THE WAY TO SEE IT. Only UHD disc, no blu-ray copy of movie.

The movie starts immediately when you load the disc. It looks and sounds fine. It says there's a trailer in the special features but there's no way to access it; which is a shame because I remember I thought it was pretty funny. Hitting the menu or pop up menu buttons did nothing except bring up the "don't" icon. It wouldn't even let me select it from the title list.

I had an issue of reds, blues and greens separating in the menu and movie when I loaded it. I unplugged and restarted the player and it played fine. I have an LG 4k player with updated firmware and it seems to have problems with many Universal UHD and blu-rays.
Once I restarted it, the movie looks amazing. Great restoration.
