As long as Sony continues to lock multiplayer behind the PS Plus paywall it makes sense to have an active membership. There’s some concern that with the introduction of PS5 Sony will use that as an excuse to raise the annual membership price. Look for a deal and stock up.

These are super useful to have on hand. Sony’s done a better job with their sales of late. While you could fund your PlayStation store wallet directly it’s worth getting the Rewards points and buying cards from Best Buy.

I played this game shortly after completing the first title in the series. I quickly discovered that enough had changed between the two games for me to need some guidance. This is a game the will reward you with hundreds of hours of entertainment or have you rage quitting in your first hour if you’re not prepared. This isn’t a pickup and play kind of game but well worth the effort needed to master or at least achieve competency in.

Swing into action with this Marvel Spider-Man game for the PlayStation 4. This Insomniac offering lets you take crime fighting to all of Manhattan via third-person action, including plenty of iconic web-slinging, parkour moves and combat opportunities. A brand new story line satisfies hardcore fans and newcomers in this Marvel Spider-Man game.

I’ve played a lot of Spider-Man games over the years; they’ve ranged from okay to horrible. This thankfully breaks the trend and gives Spidey the treatment he (and his fans) deserves. The combat is intuitive and fluid, the web swinging is a joy. Outside of some forced stealth sections the game is a blast.

RDR2 is a terrific game, though it throws a lot at you off the bat. Early on it can seem like a lot managing a constantly depleting set of cores, your weight and temperature as well as those of your horse but after awhile that all fades into the background. What’s left is one of the more compelling video game stories in recent years.
