Happy with my purchase - I bought two!

I like the fact that it is compact (especially at the base). We have had other, larger fans that used up a lot of floor space.
We picked this fan for two main reasons.
1. It is "Energy Smart." We run the fan every night - regardless of the season.
2. It's a Vornado. We have Vornado fans that have lasted us for years. A couple of years ago, we bought fans made by a different manufacturer (from a different retailer). They were sleek and pretty, but they quit working and made the most horrific noise we couldn't use them. They were a waste of money.
