This one checked off all of the bixes. Quality product. Great processor. Great color processing. GOOGLE TV OS is a big step up from from the other platforms. And I have been using them for 10+ years. Two USB ports support media storage and / or additional space for apps. Also has ATSC 3.0 next gen TV. Integrates well will all connected devices.

Nice somple interface. Easy setup. Connect antenna, plug into the router. Plug in. Follow basic detup, upgrade firmware, scan for channels, disable unwanted ( multiple copies of shopping channels), download first 24 hours of guide, then you are up and running. Understand default recording options. One option is to auto delete recordings after you warch them. Recording quality and streaming quality is very good. This is new tech for tablo. I already had firmware upgrades and software upgrades in the first 10 days. Streaming has improved. Works great on ROKU and Samsung phone. Still waiting for an upgrade on SONY Google tv version. No fees for use of the guide.

They did a pretty good job of mastering the 4k versions of these Star Wars movies. If you buy a 4k TV, you have to buy A Star Wars movie right? Theses come with a digital copy and a full set of the bluray disks with extra content. The previous bluray package was pretty bare bones with no extras.

I bought this TV this time a year ago. It has been great tv. I enjoyed my 720p 42 LG for 10 years and then a 1080p 50" LG for several years after that. I wasnt in the market fir a 4k TV. My son got the series 6 LG and my other got this series 5. I was truly impressed by the quality and features of this TV. I love the TCL and the roku smart platform. These TV's do a great job of uncovering bluray and broadcast tv.
