Whirlpool dryer\/washer set

This is a review on my washer/dryer from Whirlpool. I really like this set, I wish you could set your own water level, but I did discover a bulky load on the washer and it puts more water in the machine. The dryer part is great, it drys very well. I would reccomend this to anyone.

Avoid the laundromat with this 27-inch Whirlpool electric laundry center. The 2.5 cu. ft. washer and 5.9 cu. ft. dryer are stacked to take up less space and offer nine wash cycles and four dry cycles for comprehensive clothing care. This Whirlpool electric laundry center includes a Tumble Press feature to remove wrinkles from dry garments.

I really like this washer & dryer set except for the water sensor. They had some problems connecting the machine, some of the connections had been there for 22 years and were really hard to turn, but it worked out. I called a plumber and he was able to get it connected.

Once I finally got the computer working, it's been great. It kept asking me for a password but never knew what it was. I had help getting it started and connecting it to wi-fi but then it quit working again. I played with it for awhile and got my password and it's been fine now, but I really like it, games and being able to get on the internet have been great. Carolyn, (don't remember her last name) was very helpful buying the computer over the phone since the store was not open and curbside was very convenient. Thanks!

What causes the washer cycle to stop after filling with water on the rinse cycle? Also are the electrical sensors or controls located on the underside of the dryer located above the washer lid? I look forward to your reply.

Is there a minimum clearance recommended in the back for this unit? How much space does the dryer vent hose need in the back? Could it wind around the unit and over to my vent outlet on the side wall?
I'm sorry I can't answer your question. My unit is in a closet that was made in my kitchen for this unit. When we bought this house, this is where their twin set was. I had to buy another set and the installers had to hook up everything in the back and then set the unit in, but I know the dryer vent is directly behind the unit, That is all I know, sorry.
