The first single was InchDear Mr. PresidentInch, which bass player Christa Hillhouse told Songfacts Inchwas about the hierarchy of power and government.Inch The second single, What's Up?, became a #1 hit in several countries and went gold in the US. 4 Non Blondes was a rock band from San Francisco, California, formed in 1989. The group was formed by bassist Christa Hillhouse, guitarist Shaunna Hall, drummer Wanda Day, and vocalist and guitarist Linda Perry. Prior to the of their first album, Roger Rocha replaced Hall on guitar, and Dawn Richardson replaced Day on drums. They hit the charts in 1993 with InchWhat's Up?Inch, their only major hit single. Double vinyl LP pressing. When the prevailing guitar jingle of 'Mr. Jones' cascaded over radio in the early 90s, it was a sure sign that the Counting Crows were a musical force to be reckoned with. Their 1993 debut album, August and Everything After, burst at the seams with both dominant pop harmonies and rich, hearty ballads, all thanks to lead singer Adam Duritz. The lone guitar work of 'Mr. Jones' coupled with the sweet, in-front pull of Duritz's voice kicked off the album in full force. The album cover depicts handwritten lyrics to a song called InchAugust and Everything AfterInch, but the band decided against featuring the song on the album of the same name; it was not until over a decade later that it was played as part of one of their live concerts. Limited 180 gram black vinyl LP pressing. Digitally remastered edition. Paranoid is the second studio album by English metal band Black Sabbath. Released in September 1970, it was the band's only LP to top the UK Albums Chart until the of 13 in 2013. Paranoid contains several of the band's signature songs, including InchIron ManInch, InchWar PigsInch and the title track, which was the band's only Top 20 hit, reaching #4 in the UK charts. It is often regarded as one of the most quintessential and influential albums in heavy metal history. Black Sabbath was formed in Birmingham in 1968 by guitarist and main songwriter Tony Iommi, bassist and main lyricist Geezer Butler, singer Ozzy Osbourne, and drummer Bill Ward. Black Sabbath is often cited as pioneers of heavy metal music. The band helped define the genre with a clutch of groundbreaking albums in the '70s. They have sold over 70 million records worldwide.
