A good lightweight wireless mouse
on February 16, 2021
Posted by: N2OInferno
Verified Purchase:Yes
The first Aerox 3 (wired) I had needed to be exchanged, because the body of the mouse was very creaky and I could engage the buttons by pressing around them on the case. I did not have this issue with the wireless Aerox 3, and it does feel slightly heftier than the wired version, though that could be placebo since it's only several grams heavier. The TrueMove Air sensor is very good, but I would not say it's better than the Core sensor used in the wired variant. I'm a somewhat low DPI player and have had no issues with tracking. Lift off distance is a bit higher than I'd like, and is not adjustable in software, but does not interfere with gameplay.
RGB customization is great through Steelseries Engine. The mouse has three zones which can be customized with effect, color, speed, and brightness, as well as a reactive layer for on-click lighting. Probably some of the best RGB in a mouse that I've used, for those of you that like that sort of thing.
There are two gripes I have with the mouse. Sometimes it will not register as being connected after waking my computer from sleep. This also happened with my wired Aerox 3, but does not happen with a Logitech mouse, so I assume it's something in the mouse firmware itself. The other problem I have with this is that it's almost twice as much as the wired version. If your use case dictates that you can switch to Bluetooth for another device and swap between them, then it probably will be awesome. I didn't have that need. The wireless dongle that is included is very responsive and introduced no latency, and the mouse was very quick to wake up from battery saving sleep, but I feel like the battery did not last nearly as long as it should even with RGB lighting set to a more aggressive battery profile (disables after a short time of non-use, and disables while mouse is moving.) Unfortunately I would say that meant I ended up using this mouse as a wired device about a third of the time I owned it, and ultimately ended up returning it for another wired version. If you really need wired, or use Bluetooth, go for it, it's a great mouse. If you don't have to have the wireless capability, then I'd suggest the wired variant instead.

A good mouse with a few flaws

Overall the mouse is quite good if you get one that feels solid. I've owned two, and the first one I had needed to be exchanged, because the body of the mouse was very creaky and I could engage the buttons pressing around them on the case. The cable is very flexible and doesn't get in the way, and those with sufficient space probably won't need a mouse bungee. The TrueMove Core sensor is very good. I'm a somewhat low DPI player and have had no issues with tracking. Lift off distance is a bit higher than I'd like, and is not adjustable in software, but does not interfere with gameplay.

Probably some of the best RGB in a mouse that I've used, for those of you that like that sort of thing.
The biggest issue I have with the mouse is that upon waking my computer from sleep, there's a low chance that I will have to unplug and plug it back in before the computer recognizes there is a mouse attached. Haven't had the problem with any other mice or my keyboard, but both of the Aerox 3 mice have done this to me. Could be something Steelseries could fix through a firmware update possibly.

Good entry level graphics card
on February 3, 2021

Works well for what it is. My kids are using it as a low-medium performance graphics card, but for what they're playing (Roblox, Sims, other city builders, and some racing games) it works well. Price has gone up a ridiculous amount since I bought it in 2019 though. No complaints about drivers like you'd usually see from an AMD card. Haven't had any crashes on the machine with this inside of it.

The USB 3.0 to VGA Display Adapter acts as an external video card for your Mac or PC. It allows you to add an additional monitor/display through your USB 3.0 port. With the Display Adapter you simply load the drivers, plug in the adapter to the USB port, then plug in the VGA monitor cable into the adapter and you are ready. It supports three viewing modes: Primary Mode allows you to have individual applications open on each monitor, vastly improving productivity; Extended Mode allows you to extend your desktop across multiple displays, great for spreadsheets; and Mirroring Mode is used to clone one screen onto another, ideal for presentations. Between your computer and 2nd monitor or projector, you will be able to create a new visual environment in seconds.

Works great

One important thing to note is that this adapter will not work if you are already running displaylink software on your computer. J5create seems to use a different protocol and the two are not compatible. Otherwise this thing works great if you need to hook up to an external monitor, protector, or some other vga display. There's a little bit of lag, but that's too be expected going video out of USB.

A good set

This is a decent basic mouse and keyboard set, but it's a bit annoying that Logitech basically took the mk320 set and doubled the price. The mk320 used to be this exact same thing, with the Logitech unifying receiver. Unfortunately you have to purchase this model now to get the unifying receiver, and the mk320 only gets a receiver that pairs to the specific mouse and keyboard in the box. Thus I'm deducting one star for the rebranding and unnecessary price markup. $20 was a great price for a mouse and keyboard set where you could re-pair the dongle to another device or accessory. At $40 there's a lot more competition so it's not as easy of a choice.

Decent dock

Works well over USB, but isn't quite as good as the new USB C/thunderbolt docks. This will give you extra USB ports, support for two external monitors, and wired ethernet. It's important that you download and update the latest displaylink drivers as well, as functionality is pretty iffy without them.

Enjoy working with this LG 24-inch monitor. It uses IPS technology so that it produces vivid colors and impressive contrasts, yet it also keeps power use low so that your workflows don't use too much energy. Full HD resolutions ensure this LG 24-inch monitor produces plenty of detail from images and videos.

This monitor has great 1080p picture quality and is even halfway decent for gaming, if you have a video card that supports Freesync. Bezels are thin and the OSD is easy to use.

How big is this mouse? Is it meant for a smaller or bigger hand?

The mouse is about 4.75 inches long and 2.25 inches wide The highest point of the hump is about 1.5 inches. I'd say it's for medium hands.

Is the RGB customizeable?

Yes. The mouse has three lighting zones, and you can use the Steelseries Engine software to customize each zone individually. Color, effect, speed, and brightness are adjustable, as well as a reactive layer with additional customizable lighting upon clicking.

Logitech Wireless Combo MK320. The combo that puts entertainment and portability at your fingertips. With 11 hot keys, you~ll enjoy instant access to the things you do most. Low-profile, whisper-quiet keyboard helps make typing and surfing easy. And the mouse stores the tiny Logitech receiver, so you can take your mouse wherever you go.

Should it come with a unifying receiver? It says so on the webpage but what I got was only a nano receiver instead of the unifying receiver.

The description on the page is wrong and says it comes with a unifying receiver. The old MK320 did in fact come with one, and I have dozens of them to prove it. Unfortunately Logitech at some point decided to put a nano receiver in the MK320 now, so you can't rebind to other devices. In order to get the unifying receiver you'll need to order the MK335, which is the exact same thing but much more expensive. So yeah, they got greedy and now charge you much more money for the exact same product.
