Good tv, not so good controller

We love our new tv for our bedroom. We went with a larger screen than planned but I’m glad we did. I’m disappointed in the controller. It doesn’t work too well. Sometimes the buttons don’t respond, sometimes they enter twice. Also, I haven’t figured how to exit guide without entering a channel.
