Pricey but Worth it

I got these to replace my Sony XB950N1. Those were a cheaper model with noise cancelling and "extra bass". Ultimately, the build quality on the 950's were not to my liking.
These, on the other hand, are fantastic. The feel when they're on is very comfortable. The sound is much better than I expected. And build is sturdy and flexible (I don't think these will break as easily as the plastic on the 950s).
Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. I wish these had the USB-C charging but I know that's on the M3 models and beggars can't be choosers, right?

Great Laptop for Gaming

This review is written about 1 year after purchasing so keep that in mind.
I bought this to be able to play Final Fantasy XIV on the go. It works great. Nearly max graphics with decent fps. Some drops during 24 man raids but not if you turn off other player's spell effects.
One nice thing about this device is that you can add an additional drive without having to remove the installed SSD. The installed drive is a small (maybe) M.3 style drive that takes up as much space as a stick of RAM so that leaves the normal HDD bay empty. You can throw a large HDD or another SSD in there to get even more space. It also only has 1 dimm of 8gb memory which means you can double your memory without having to buy 2 sticks.
My only minor complaint is that the backlit keyboard does not stay lit when unplugged. I've changed the settings in the bios and it should stay on even while idle, but it doesn't. Again, not a deal breaker by any means, but it's there...
Overall, I am very pleased with this laptop. I've heard negative things about Dell recently, but I couldn't pass up the deal. I'm glad those rumors were wrong. This laptop is solid.

Situational use but great execution

The screen is amazing. The ambient mode is great for the bedroom. It puts out about the same amount of light as a digital clock. That being said, the screen had limited uses compared to a tablet and it less mobile. If you don't need the screen, the Home or Mini will be just as good with the voice commands.

Better sound than the Mini but hard of hearing

The sound from this Google home is much better than the Google Home Mini. Unfortunately it had a little trouble hearing people. I'll be in the same room as the Home and the Mini in the next room will answer instead of the Home. Not sure if that's a negative for this device or a plus for the Mini.

Good sound but subpar build quality

The sound and features of these headphones are nice, but they are a bit flimsy. If you only use them at home and don't travel with them, they are probably OK, but in less than a year, the plastic on one of the ears broke. It's a party that didn't contain any wires so I was able to glue it back together, but the hollow plastic casing meas the glue doesn't hold very well. I'm giving Sony one more change and replacing these with the 1000xm2 this year. Hopefully the build quality will be nicer than these.
