Answer: This is not a tablet, this is a Solid State Drive, also known as an SSD.
Recommended: Buy an iPad (it is a tablet), and the fold-able case. make sure you have an Apple ID, and turn on iCloud for the Notes App. You can put recipes in the Notes App, use the case to have it propped up in your kitchen on the counter, and the recipes are backed-up online with iCloud.
