Picked this up after enjoying the Escapist series on PC and Switch. The Survalists places you instead of in prison, shipwrecked and alone on an island. You have to forage for food and supplies to build a shelter and potentially a thriving community (possibly better than the one you are currently in). All around a fun experience and runs well on the Switch.

This 2K release of Phantom Menace looks great in HDR and sounds great with Atmos. The included MoviesAnywhere code lets you stream up to Dolby Vision as well should you have the right hardware. The beginning of the Skywalker saga was a great film for it's day and despite some somewhat slower sequences added a lot to the Star Wars universe and featured some epic lightsaber battles.

This movie while only a 2K conversion instead of a full 4K one still looks great in HDR and is the best way to experience this movie at home. Although included is a MoviesAnywhere code for the same experience in Dolby Vision via streaming should you have the right internet and hardware.

The Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath game is a great way to get into the kurrent game. With the base game and most all of the DLC included there is a lot of kontent to play and enjoy. Both the original story and Aftermath story are enjoyable and have hours of gameplay and some great scripted events before and after. If you haven't played the game yet, or like myself just want all of the kontent on disk then this bundle is the way to go.

Great Batman movie

This is one of the few movies that I have bought on DVD, then Blu-ray, and now 4K UHD. Different than many 4K movies, the Dark Knight series is actually in true 4K not just 2K with HDR. The detail is amazing and the sound is excellent. This is one of those films that is a true showpiece for a home theater setup. And that's not to mention that the movie is great, and a good setup for the future movies that would release.

Great remaster of a classic

Need for Speed is a great series in general, but Hot Pursuit has always been one of the series staple releases back since the early days. This PS3/360 era game was good, but at that time was stuck at 720p 30fps. This new "remaster" basically adds some higher resolution textures and a few tweaked lighting effects, but also gives you options for performance on the PS4 Pro. So on the base PS4 you get 1080p 30fps. On the PS4 Pro you can choose between a quality mode with a dynamic 4K 30fps frame rate or 1080p 60fps in a performance mode. The options are nice, and everyone will have their own preference. Personally I like the 4K mode being able to see far off into the distance to avoid cars or obstacles, but the fluid 60fps at 1080p is also a great way to play the game.
Resolution aside, Hot Pursuit is all about the classic cops vs racers gameplay of earlier entries. You take missions as either acquiring new gear and vehicles as you go. As the police your objective is to stop racers using any method at your disposal, but usually by ramming them until their car is decommissioned. As the racer your goal is to win the race without getting stopped, but also by stopping your fellow racers. A few other missions pit you trying to get from A to B without taking damage. But for the most part this is a no-frills racer that is easily worth rebuying or just picking up if you didn't experience it the first time.
My only gripe is that this game came out the week before current gen Xbox Series and PS5 consoles. So assuming you were able to grab one (like I was lucky enough to) there is no option to have enhancements beyond what the PS4 Pro offered. The PS5 should be able to output at 4K/60fps, but sadly as a budget $40 release I doubt EA will touch this. That said the game is still great and worth picking up.

Great home printer

Awesome printer, works well and the print quality is good. The starter toner cartridges are fairly small and with my wife (a teacher) printing some small books with graphics on each page taking roughly 1/5 of the page we were only able to get a couple hundred pages (200-300ish) printed before the color toners ran out. That said replacement toner can be found on Amazon through a few vendors including GCI that I was able to get high capacity toner sets for around $50 or less that have lasted a lot longer. Granted most people won't be printing their own reading books for kids classrooms but for low to moderate use at home this printer should last for a long time without needing to worry about things like printer ink drying out.
Also don't bother with the Windows driver for this printer, it will only cause heartache. Use the included driver on the CD or grab the one from Canon's website.

I saw this movie and can genuinely say I was shocked with how it played out. I couldn't have imagined this movie any better than it turned out. The cast was great and the story built perfectly into explaining the events of Star Wars A New Hope. This movie is great and looks and sounds great in 4K. The Dolby Vision version is also included on a Movies Anywhere redemption code in the packaging. If you have yet to watch this movie, I highly recommend it.

That's pretty much it. 2 of the buttons stick, not because of a sticky substance, but because they aren't centered properly in the shell. You can feel them rub up against it, and they make audible noises when they're pushed from the unsticking. It is very annoying. Don't bother with their "refurbished" garbage.

Clean it

With any gaming controller if you take a clean toothbrush, slightly dampened with water and scrub around the buttons you should be able to fix this. Be sure to not use much water and then dry it when done. There is a rubber membrane under each button with a slight lip around the edge to prevent small amounts of water, dirt or soda from touching the circuitry. Scrubbing all sides of the button, maybe twice after rinsing the toothbrush should fix the problem. I've used this method to fix otherwise filthy game controllers without needing to resort to opening them to clean them.

Seems like a fine product, but I returned this unopened. I purchased this thinking it would do motion tracking for games like Just Dance, however it appears this is only for capturing video, not mocap.

Smart reason I returned mine. This should have been branded that is for "YouTube or Twitch Streaming ONLY". So many reviewers got this camera yet of dozens of reviews only one I saw mentioned this. VR and other functions of the other games won't support this camera. This seems like a huge oversight, so hopefully this changes in a firmware update. But for now if you don't stream, skip this peripheral.

Can this be used for audio commands? For instance, the Xbox Kinect allowed you to say "Xbox Pause" while watching a movie...
No it can't. It's sole purpose is to stream on YouTube and Twitch, period.

Either of the past PS4 cameras will work great. I'm currently using the cylinder shapped V2 camera, works great for Just Dance and PSVR.

Will I be able to connect this to a Nintendo switch lite?
You would need a third party bluetooth adapter to connect in the USB charge port on the bottom of the Switch Lite. I'm not fully certain these work on the Lite over the standard Switch. So no it won't work natively.
My recommendation is the Switch Pro controller. Though if you're on a budget the PowerA wireless controller is cheaper dealing, missing some features like rumble, a built in 48 hr battery, and amiibo support, but is an otherwise solid $40 remote that occasionally goes on sale.

I recently bought this controller for my Xbox one and went to set it up when I got home with my rechargeable batteries, but they don’t seem to work. Did they make it to where older rechargeable batteries don’t work with the new controllers?
The form factor of the back is slightly different so you'll need a new charger as the back cover is different. That said older rechargeable packs can be charged separately and then installed in the controller.
Another option is to buy a new Xbox Series rechargeable battery pack (using the cover the controller came with) an then charge it via USB-C. This time around there are two sets of battery pins inside. I'm guessing that it won't charge older packs or rechargeable AA batteries via USB-C so that people wouldn't damage their controller by accidentally charging standard AA batteries, hence the second set of charging pins.

So I tested this myself, and No it does not work. The Xbox Series controller has terminals for standard or rechargeable AA batteries to power the controller. But this time there are some smaller pins for a rechargeable battery pack and these will charge a battery from the USB-C port. But as they are between where AA batteries (rechargeable or not) sit they won't charge rechargeable AA batteries. My guess is this decision was made so that someone didn't inadvertently try to "recharge" non-rechargeable AA batteries as that would be a problem.

You can quiet them and turn on subtitles. I get it, some of the Scottish accents are pretty thick and hard to understand. No offense to anyone, I'm sure they think the same of some of us Americans.
