Diablo 3 is a welcome addition to my Switch library. I have sunk so many hours into this game on PC and PS4, but the option of playing the game where and whenever was too good to pass up. This is the full fledged experience offering all of the two expansions and season passes as well. The addition of the transmog Ganon armor is a nice bonus as well. The only thing I really wish is that the game was account bound across platforms so I could take my progress from PC or even PS4. Still at $60 it's a great game (though other platforms have it as low as $20 on sale :\ ). Diablo 3 looks and feels like the other platforms just at a lower 900p resolution and a few almost unnoticeable changes.

I'll preface my review by stating that I haven't played many Pokemon games. I owned Omega Ruby on 3DS but hadn't played more than maybe 40 hours. That said I have played Pokemon Go some, and have watched a good share of the television series back to the originals. I have really enjoyed playing Let's Go Pikachu and am about maybe 20 hours in going through the main story as well as trying to catch rare and shiny Pokemon. I'm a big fan of a few new mechanics like Pokemon encounters and even the new catching mechanic. I have played mostly with the Pokeball Plus, but have put less but equal time into using a single joy-con and in handheld mode. The easiest method is handheld mode as catching requires motion controls and if you just hold still it's more just timing when to throw a pokeball. A single joy-con is pretty easy, but the pokeball controller almost feels "more natural" (if such a thing can be said). I would have loved to have option to use my Pro controller, but to me it's okay that's not an option, hopefully it is in the next game. The catching mechanic is easier than in past games, but it's not perfect, occasionally the motion controls don't work as intended but largely aren't a problem.
The game looks beautiful in my eyes as it's the best iteration of Kanto I have ever seen in game and looks like the anime would have you believe the game should look.
I have used the Pokeball with the game beautifully, but I'm still having major issues connecting it to Pokemon Go I will have to work out. I have transferred a few Pokemon from Go to Let's Go and it's easy enough. It doesn't break the game as you can't do it until later in the game anyway. Most Pokemon you will find in the game without too much effort, though there are a few that will test your resolve to catch them all.
I can easily recommend the base game, it's well worth playing. The Pokeball Plus is a little more difficult to recommend. If you tie the game into Pokemon Go it can have an added benefit of collecting Pokestops and chance of catching Pokemon but without Go you can still walk and level up your Pokemon helping you level up Pokemon even when not actively playing the game which makes it worthy of ownership in my mind.

Great follow-up to a great game

I've been really excited to see this game release after roughly eight years since the original game's release. Read Dead 2 looks great on current consoles especially on Xbox One X if you have a 4K display. It has been made known that the HDR effect is currently not that great and though I have a 2016 LG IPS panel TV it looks best with the HDR setting at around the 450 or 500 nit mark instead of the recommended 300 mark. The game does a lot of hand holding at the beginning but the story is great and engaging with nods to the first game with this being a prequel to the original Red Dead. Once you reach the first town the game opens up a lot and gives you a much better idea of how expansive the game really is now.

When I first heard about this game I was moderately interested, but then like most when I heard Star Fox would be in the Switch edition alone I was really interested. I did buy the digital edition as well as this to have more ships digitally but to also have the physical Arwing and Fox McCloud figures. The game is a lot of fun with no shortage of tasks and ability to level up your characters, ships and weapons. The Star Fox objectives are also really fun and nodes at that series.
The game can be played with or without figures so you don't have to worry about taking toys with you on the go. Basically once you scan a character, ship or weapon into the game you will have that item in the game digitally for seven days. If you scan the same item(s) in again after seven days they will be yours digitally forever, which is great. I like playing with the toys as much as my kids do in game, but I have put a lot of time into this game just using the Pro controller over the joy-con with toys option.
Ubisoft has mentioned they would like to add to this game, which as is has a lot of content, but a few more ships, characters and locations or enemy types would be nice. Personally I'm hoping they add a Samus Aran and her ship set down the road.
That said this game does have a lot of repetition but in a lot of different types of activities from attacking enemies, protecting ships, scanning creatures, and other things.

I bought into this series after having played the first series of Mega Man Legacy Collection on Switch. I previously had that collection on 3DS but really enjoy the upgrade to full HD with the Switch only option of being able to rewind and have challenges from the amiibo.
Buying this collection I was a little disappointed the rewind option was missing, so it's essentially like the other console versions but offers a boss rush mode that pits you against several series bosses at once. I like the new mode, but am not a great enough player to do really well at it. In all this is a great collection on Switch and runs great both on and off screen.

Super Mario Party on Switch is a great return to the classic gameplay of the series. Back again are the classic board games that pit you against other players instead of sharing a seat on the same cart and playing together. I like the addition of the rhythm based games in their own separate section of the game as well. There are several unlockable characters and the game has a good selection of around 80 minigames. The single player run through of all the games is a little lackluster as is the online play that lets you play mini-games alone against random strangers with no chat function. Still it's a good step in the right direction and a great title to play with friends. Also of note you will need one joy-con for each player, so if you are going to play with more than two you will need to buy some more controllers to which no aftermarket controllers or even the Pro controller work here. Still it's a great game and worth adding to your collection.

How do you review a gift card? I bought this as a promo with another gift card making this a great value. Aside from that the Netflix gift card is easy to use and apply to your account, whether it's a gift or not. We have automatic payments on our account taken from our credit card. But you just simply log in to your Netflix account on PC (you can likely do it on your device's Netflix app as well). From there click your profile icon (upper right) and choose "Account". Where you see "Redeem gift card or promo code" carefully scratch off the gift card code and enter it here. It will show that the credit was applied to your account and it will slowly be taken out month by month until the balance is gone and then will resume charging your default payment method.

That's pretty much it. 2 of the buttons stick, not because of a sticky substance, but because they aren't centered properly in the shell. You can feel them rub up against it, and they make audible noises when they're pushed from the unsticking. It is very annoying. Don't bother with their "refurbished" garbage.

Clean it

With any gaming controller if you take a clean toothbrush, slightly dampened with water and scrub around the buttons you should be able to fix this. Be sure to not use much water and then dry it when done. There is a rubber membrane under each button with a slight lip around the edge to prevent small amounts of water, dirt or soda from touching the circuitry. Scrubbing all sides of the button, maybe twice after rinsing the toothbrush should fix the problem. I've used this method to fix otherwise filthy game controllers without needing to resort to opening them to clean them.

Seems like a fine product, but I returned this unopened. I purchased this thinking it would do motion tracking for games like Just Dance, however it appears this is only for capturing video, not mocap.

Smart reason I returned mine. This should have been branded that is for "YouTube or Twitch Streaming ONLY". So many reviewers got this camera yet of dozens of reviews only one I saw mentioned this. VR and other functions of the other games won't support this camera. This seems like a huge oversight, so hopefully this changes in a firmware update. But for now if you don't stream, skip this peripheral.

Yes, Best Buy's NBA JAM cabinet has the light up deck protector. It lights up from a button press in the upper right corner. Can select between about six colors as well as one that flows between them or you can simply power it off. The effect is pretty cool with some parts of the deck printed on the plexiglass in white like P1, P2, pass, etc able to light up and be easily seen. This version is pretty cool.

How much does Best Buy charge to set the arcade game up ?
Not sure, though Geek Squad may offer a service. This is similar to easier IKEA furniture to setup. Basically should take 1-2 hours to setup. Requires no glue just a Philip's and maybe flat head screwdriver. I've setup over eight of these and the only tricky part is the monitor brackets. Just loosely tighten them until fully in place then tighten them down. Aside from that everything else can tighten down as installing (just don't overtighten as this is pressboard). Also you may need to be a ninja at chopping the box apart to recycle it. Its large but similar to a large television in size.

On Movies Anywhere you can view it in 4K Dolby Vision (the best digital format), HD, or even SD. This all depends on what television, streaming device, and internet service you have. So long as you have a bluray player or method of streaming it and or plan to upgrade to 4K in the future you can buy this now and not need to purchase any new media in the future. Well at least until the inevitable 8K version someday...

Can I put this in a switch lite?
Yep, the Switch Lite will play all games the original Switch can with a few exceptions like 1-2-Switch requiring additional joy-con controllers. And the Labo series are incompatible as they can't house the Switch Lite for playing their games.

I'm buying a Switch Lite, which I'm almost positive plays Switch games, but I'm wondering how many megabytes of storage it takes.
The base game is fairly small taking around 512MB. Either way this game requires 1GB save files for every profile that plays the game. These block off storage for level creations that are unfortunately like all other save data locked to the internal 32GB storage. This is a problem if you have kids with multiple friends that play with them. Even though these friends dont save levels they need local profiles that lock off 1GB each for this game until you delete them.
Owning this game on physical is nice so that with multiple consoles you can share between them. The better feature is that you can then download the new cross platform game that doesn't block off 1GB per user but rather just what you save so save file sizes are rather small.

Does the Nintendo Switch version have infinite generating worlds like in Java edition on PC? Or is the world generation limited?
Yes it's based off of the Java version. If you own this version of the game you can download a free copy of the newer game that is crossplatform.

Can you play two players on one console?
You can play up to four players via split screen though you will need additional controllers for anyone beyond the first player. Also this game cannot be played with a single joy-con, you'll need both or a Pro controller for each player.
