Great new title, and hopefully series

I picked this game up to go along the buggy messes that are the overpriced Call of Duty Black OPS Cold War, and Cyberpunk 2077. Both of which are great games, but at launch are pretty bad at crashing.
That's when I took a chance on Immortals Fenyx Rising and I am really glad that I did. From Ubisoft this game brings in elements of Assassin's Creed Odyssey and others in a game that plays more like Disney's Hercules (1997). You are basically Fenyx in a Greek mythology based game narrated by Zeus and Prometheus in dad joke fashion. It works and despite the somewhat bland visuals, the game actually looks great. On PS5, the lighting, shadowing and general character detail is great. And more importantly the game isn't buggy, after hours of play hasn't crashed, and more importantly is just fun to play. Honestly this is probably one of the best games to pickup if you're lucky enough to find a next gen console, though I've heard good things from owners of the Switch version as well.

Great game, buggy mess

Visually this is a great game on the Xbox Series X. The ray traced lighting and shadows look amazing. And the standardized 60fps at 4K (or better if you have a better display) the series is known for remains.
Now to the bad. I purchased the disc version and being on data capped internet by COMCAST, only 256MB installs from the disc.
The game requires 160GB in downloads and patches currently JUST to play the campaign, or any part of the game in it's current and buggy state on Xbox Series X (and likely Xbox One).

Also after just played through the first Vietnam mission and after returning to the Safe House I found one of the annoying game breaking bugs. So in the Safe House at that point you get access to a computer terminal that you can check details on your missions, operatives, etc. Well to exit the terminal you have to shutdown the computer. Little did I know this would ACTUALLY shut down my Xbox Series X. Apparently from user reviews and complaints this is a fairly common problem (mine was marginally funny), but it's unknown when and if these console powering off bugs will be fixed. So while I would love to give this game a high score, the bugs are pretty atmosphere breaking.

Great Batman title in full 4K

While personally I thought that Batman Begins was a better film, The Dark Knight adds to the series in some meaningful ways. The late Heath Ledger's last performance as the Joker was excellent and great to see. The tone much like Batman Begins (and much of the DC universe) is very dark with some thematic action sequences and disturbing villains. Some of the cityscape IMAX shots look amazing, as does the entire movie as it is in native 4K (unlike a lot of other 4K movies that were released in 2K, I'm looking at you Disney and Marvel 4K releases). But the sound is also incredible. The only disappointing thing about the Dark Knight 4K releases is that they DO NOT include any type of digital copy, so you get the discs and that's it. At least with the Marvel movies you get a digital copy that includes the Dolby Vision release. But I digress, if you haven't picked up these movies yet, these are likely the definitive versions to own, although the 70mm IMAX cutscenes could technically eventually release in up to 12K, this 4K release is beautiful and showcase for your 4K television and surround system.

Guardians of the Galaxy was a great movie and one that took the comedy level of the Marvel universe up a notch. Guardians 2 went up even more (boiling into the Thor movies for better or worse). All around this movie was a great experience and looks great in this 2K release at home in HDR. The sound is also amazing with it's Atmos track. And for those with Dolby Vision hardware the included MoviesAnywhere code will have you covered.

So I bought this remote planning that the PS5 would be Sony's glorious return to being the frontman in video performance. And while they must have learned from the PS4 Pro that having a 4K UHD drive is a must, one of their consoles (like Xbox) doesn't have a drive. On top of that, at the time of writing the PS5 doesn't support Dolby Vision and is an okay player at that. I have the 2019 Nvidia Shield Pro, so the inclusion of the Disney Plus, Netflix and other streaming buttons while welcome aren't necessary for me, though others may enjoy them. So as a media player the PS5 is great, as a 4K UHD blu-ray player it's okay, and as a game system it's next-gen. I just wish Sony had let their entertainment division have it in the oven a little bit longer making the remote an even more worthwhile investment. But as it stands it's okay, but if you're a movieophile you may want to just skip this remote for now and buy a separate player for your UHD discs.

When The Force Awakens came to theaters I can't recall a time when I or many others were so hyped to see a new Star Wars release (since maybe the original trilogy). To large scale I think this movie met expectations and was a great film introducing new characters and story. This 2K release looks great with HDR and sounds great with Atmos. The included MoviesAnywhere code also gives you access to the Dolby Vision version of the movie if you have the right hardware.

Amazing Warriors game

So if you haven't tried it yet, go ahead and download the free trial of this game. If you have tried it or enjoyed any past Warriors titles this one doesn't disappoint. Story wise there is a lot of content here and a lot of great characters with cool upgrades. Aside from that the only somewhat glaring issue is the frame rate. That said it's consistent with the demo. I only had one instance of playing the Zora domain with rain and electric attacks all around that the frame rate dropped very low. I'm somewhat surprised that Nintendo hasn't opted "yet" to patch the game for both a performance and a quality mode like in past titles. Right now we just have a quality mode with visuals running at up to 1080p. But an up to 720p mode with higher fps would be welcome for some levels. That said all of this could be a non-issue if Nintendo releases a "Switch Pro" next year. But frame rate aside this really is a good game (that will hopefully get a patch soon).

Great next-gen console

From the second you boot up an Xbox One Series X (the name could use some work) you get that feeling of the enhanced performance, the way everything loads very quickly. But then, so far, the next-gen gaming experiences on Xbox seem very much the same. Granted I've only played WatchDogs Legion (great game) and some of the remastered experiences like Horizon 4, Master Chief X/S, and others, yet there is no huge "this game feels next gen" experiences yet. You do get glimpses though. For example the opening scene of Legion has you walk through a cathedral where moonlight shines through a stained glass window onto your character accurately. And then the reflections on the streets and in water. Seeing a daytime reflection in the river of the underside of a bridge was pretty incredible and something not scene before. But aside from that I think most experiences are going to be just like this, subtle.
But aside from that the big reason I grabbed a console day one (aside from being very lucky and trying over and over again) was to get the backwards compatibility for current and older gen titles. Playing games even from a USB spinning disk still has advantages in performance over the Xbox One. Older Xbox and 360 games look and perform noticeably better as well, like gaming on a PC when you jump a few generations in graphics cards.
And the transition from Xbox One to Xbox Series X was instant. I literally just unplugged the 4TB drive I had my games stored on from my Xbox One X and plugged it into the Series X. And they were instantly recognized and playable! I also happened to grab a PS5, and I'll mention it here that despite PS5 being equally great, the transition from taking games on one drive from your PS4 Pro to PS5 is a buggy mess. Even transferring over the network doesn't work as it should. Again I mention this because Microsoft's implementation is easy and flawless, the way it should be.
All of this said, and with new games bound to release shortly that really show off the Xbox Series X and S power, buy in when you can. Try and hold out from scalpers and their 3 to 4 times price hiking as the real reasons to buy in will come. But if you are lucky enough to grab one, you can relive all your great Xbox experiences now.

That's pretty much it. 2 of the buttons stick, not because of a sticky substance, but because they aren't centered properly in the shell. You can feel them rub up against it, and they make audible noises when they're pushed from the unsticking. It is very annoying. Don't bother with their "refurbished" garbage.

Clean it

With any gaming controller if you take a clean toothbrush, slightly dampened with water and scrub around the buttons you should be able to fix this. Be sure to not use much water and then dry it when done. There is a rubber membrane under each button with a slight lip around the edge to prevent small amounts of water, dirt or soda from touching the circuitry. Scrubbing all sides of the button, maybe twice after rinsing the toothbrush should fix the problem. I've used this method to fix otherwise filthy game controllers without needing to resort to opening them to clean them.

Smart reason I returned mine. This should have been branded that is for "YouTube or Twitch Streaming ONLY". So many reviewers got this camera yet of dozens of reviews only one I saw mentioned this. VR and other functions of the other games won't support this camera. This seems like a huge oversight, so hopefully this changes in a firmware update. But for now if you don't stream, skip this peripheral.

Both versions are compatible with Playstation Remote Play and GamePass. You obviously need to install an app for both, the only real differences will be the iPhone or Android version, but the markings for ABXY vs XO□△. But the buttons will function the same.

If I have mutiple children do the outfits go to all of them or only one child on the account?
All characters, outfits, etc are per account. If you want them to share they just need to use the same account. I get that this doesn't work sometimes and in that scenario where they want to play together, you'd need additional accounts and consoles. We have four accounts in our house with four consoles. Also grab and unlock items in each Battle Pass as it's the cheapest method of grabbing different outfits. For us that means four Battle Pass subscriptions. If your kids can resist buying additional skins by completing a Battle Pass you'll get enough V-bucks to get the next Battle Pass for free over and over again.

Hi I purchased the Bundle for Nintendo Switch tonight but it did not come with the sheet code inside. It’s quite upsetting
In this scenario I'd contact Epic support (Fortnite developer). They should be able to resolve the situation. Otherwise it would be your word against Best Buy trying to exchange it in store.

This cameras sole purpose is for streaming on YouTube and Twitch. But yes, it will record your face with face tracking as well as gameplay (again streaming only).
