I wish they would have remastered the audio in Dolby ATMOS for my sound system, but it's not a deal breaker. Happy to add Speed to my collection and I hope they keep 'em coming!

Highly recommended and worth picking up if you're a fan of these old school toons! I picked up Volume 1 and just couldn't pass up on Volume 2 edition. Pure nostalgia. It's great to have Warner Bros preserve these classic Tex Avery cartoons on Blu-ray and am highly anticipating that they complete the series in the future.

It's about time, Paramount

I was excited when Paramount announced 1999's The Haunting would be released on Blu-ray after soooo many years. I think they should have gone ahead and simply released it on 4K UHD Blu-ray with the standard Blu-ray and digital copy combo based on today's TV's, but hey. I'll take the Blu-ray. It is what it is.
This edition comes with the standard Blu-ray and a digital copy, along with a cool slipcover. The video and audio quality on the disc is excellent, but as stated before, they could have gone all the way and simply released it on 4K UHD. There's room for improvement and Paramount simply wasn't thinking long-term here, especially seeing as more and more people are upgrading to 4K TV's and media players.
If you're a fan of this movie, go ahead and pick it up. There's no telling if Paramount will ever re-release this movie at the rate they finally put this out on Blu-ray. Recommended.

Sturdy, quality next-gen cables

Bought these cables to hook up to my Sony X900H TV, PS5, and even my 4K player. They work great. I've had no issues. These are authentic, certified cables so you can rest assured they've been thoroughly tested and meet HDMI.org standards.
I recommend these mainly for gamers who have a newer TV capable of 4K-8K resolution with a refresh rate up to 120hz and a PlayStation 5 - that's who can benefit from these cables the most at the time of this review. These Rocketfish 8K Ultra High Speed cables are mainly for next-gen TV's and video game consoles released around or beyond 2021.
Also, watch your wallet. These cables are a bit pricey so if you have an older TV, regular Blu-ray player, or older video game consoles released prior to 2019-2020, you're better off getting cheaper cables for that stuff since there would be little to no difference in video or audio quality.
Besides that, these can be a good, long term investment. I highly recommend as long as you have, or plan on getting, the right gear.

One of my favorite Marvel movies on 4K

I've been collecting all Marvel movies on 4K and stumbled upon this one in store so I bought it and watched it at home, and let me just say, this movie looks gorgeous in 4K. The colors, the clarity, it's like seeing it in theaters all over again.
Normally, Disney puts out low quality audio on their disc's but this one sounded really good on my surround sound Klipsch system with a good amount of bass and dynamic range.
Pick this up. You won't regret it, especially if you have a 4K TV and a sound system. Highly recommend it.

A 90s comic book classic gets the 4K treatment

I've bought Blade on VHS, DVD, Blu-ray, and now 4K Blu-ray. This 4K version is the best I've ever seen and heard for this movie. The techno music and action sequences sound amazing in Dolby Atmos with deep bass and excellent clarity, and the picture quality is nice and filmic, with a good amount of film grain intact and all. Can't complain.
If you're a fan of Marvel and Wesley Snipes Blade, definitely add this one to your collection. And if you've got a 4K TV and a good surround sound system, prepare for an awesome experience. Hopefully Warner Bros will eventually release Blade 2 and 3 later on.
Highly recommended.

Paramount remastered this movie for 4K and it looks amazing. It's like a copy of an original, mint condition film reel. Film grain intact and all. The audio is excellent as well. Felt like I was watching this in theaters for the first time, only in my living room. I love it.
If you're a fan of this movie, or just a fan of Arsenio Hall and Eddie Murphy, pick this up for your collection. And if you've got a 4K TV and a nice surround sound system, prepare for a nice filmic experience. I hope Paramount Pictures continues releasing catalogue movies with this level of care and quality.

Nearly flawless 4K player

This player has played every disc I've thrown at it. 4K disc's play perfectly, Blu-ray, DVD, music CD's, you name it. Also includes a USB port so you can play videos from your phone or digital camera. If you have a 4K TV that supports Dolby Vision, this is a player for you since it can handle Dolby Vision as well. Very few 4K players have this option.
Also includes a few apps such as YouTube and Netflix, which actually operate pretty smoothly.
I've not encountered any problems with this player but have heard from others that some Lionsgate 4K movies may glitch when Dolby Vision is enabled, so Panasonic may release a firmware update in the future to resolve this.
Very happy with this purchase over all. Highly recommend.

Can I use this even if my tv isn’t 4k? And will it look better
You can, but it's not recommended since you will not notice a difference in quality. Older TV's, cable boxes, video game consoles, and Blu-ray players can only output a certain amount of quality (bandwidth) therefor it would not fully utilize this 8K Ultra High Speed cable to it's full potential. For the full experience, think about upgrading your TV, and the gear attached to it, to 4K sometime in the future - that's when this cable will make a true difference in both audio and video quality for movies and gaming.
