Fun nostalgic movie but missing slipcover

For some reason, Best Buy and the distributor MVD are shipping this without the cardboard slipcover box, which would normally come shrink-wrapped. This is highly disappointing, so if you're a collector, I do not recommend buying this unless you are fine with just a basic blue case.
Besides that, this is a flick for pure nostalgic purposes for those who grew up in the 90s. It's a cheesy movie, but I found it fun.

This is an excellent box set of the Daniel Craig 007 collection on 4K Blu-ray. The video quality is superb and the audio is top-notch, but could have been even better with Dolby ATMOS. The studio settled for the old DTS audio, which still is amazing, but an upgrade would have been nice. I'm happy with this set and hope MGM / Fox continues to release the other James Bond films on 4K Blu-ray.... hopefully with new scans from the original camera negative and upgraded audio.

Sony Pumping Out Gold on the 4K Format

Everything Sony has been pumping out on 4K UHD Blu-ray is simply outstanding, and Charlie's Angels is no exception. We get a beautiful amount of film grain and excellent colors, along with a superb Dolby ATMOS audio mix that contains crystal clear dialogue and an amazing amount of bass and surround sound. This is like having a 35mm reel on a disc - simply extraordinary quality. I hope Sony also releases the sequel (Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle) later on on 4K Blu-ray. This is an awesome release, and definitely worth picking up if you're a fan.

The video and audio quality on the Crawl Blu-ray is excellent. Really loved the audio, which sounds powerful with plenty of bass for the action sequences. The video quality looked wonderful on my Sony TV.
I'm surprised Paramount decided not to release this on 4K Blu-ray, it would've looked and sounded even more amazing I think.
This was an entertaining little thriller horror movie and I enjoyed it. Definitely recommend it.

As a fan of film, we want the best video and audio quality possible for our movies, and Universal does just that with Scarface on 4K Blu-ray.
The video quality is superb, with film grain intact, vibrant colors, appearing to be as close as possible to the original camera negative.
The audio is loud and clear, and will sound as if you're watching it in theaters with plenty of bass and crystal clear dialog.
This is an awesome release. Definitely worth buying.

Audio suffers from volume and dynamic range

Something is wrong with the audio on this 4K Blu-ray. The audio sounds very low, forcing you to raise the volume way beyond normal listening levels. The bass, action, and surround sound effects lack dynamic range, making Toy Story 4 sound very flat, even on my 4K surround sound system.
The SteelBook art and visual presentation looks good, but Disney needs to work on their audio because their 4K Blu-ray releases sound like trash compared to other studios.
Unless you're a collector or don't care about the quality of your movies for some odd reason, not recommended.

Warner Bros goes for the crown

As a collector, this 4K UHD SteelBook of The Shining is a must-buy. I popped in the 4K disc and was stunned at how great the video quality is. It's very film-like, as movies should be, with little-to-no digital noise reduction, making the movie feel... like a movie. The colors look vivid, and everything looks crystal clear. There's plenty of film grain as well, making this 4K UHD disc feel something like a 1 to 1 copy of a 35mm reel. I love it because it's identical to how films were presented in theaters.
The audio quality is also spectacular. It's not a Dolby ATMOS track, but we do get a DTS track that has plenty of punch with bass, clear dialogue, and surround sound effects. Everything Warner Bros has remastered for 4K UHD and Blu-ray thus far, from The Matrix to Batman, has sounded excellent, and The Shining is no exception. It would have been nice to also have the original audio on here as an option, but it's not a deal-breaker.
If you're a fan of the film, or have a 4K TV and a good surround sound system, this is one of those 4K Blu-ray titles that is worth checking out. I look forward to buying more of WB's 4K Blu-ray releases as long as they continue to put out this level of quality.

The First Sony 4K Dud

The 4K UHD disc of Spider-Man: Far From Home is flawed and needs to be recalled by Sony. The Dolby ATMOS audio sounds very low, all-around flat, lacks dynamic range and bass. Not sure what exactly happened with the audio but it's obvious they didn't do their jobs right when mixing the audio for this disc. Very disappointing. The video quality looks great though.
Sony needs to recall this 4K UHD disc because I believe there is a major issue when the 4K and Blu-ray sound completely different. This disc needs to be recalled ASAP.
Fortunately, the standard Blu-ray disc looks and sounds nothing short of spectacular. It's great. The DTS sound has plenty of bass, dynamic range, and, of course, excellent video quality. Sony also gave us plenty of special features as well. The packaging for the SteelBook also looks neat, especially in-person.
If you have a 4K TV and a good surround sound system in the living room, you find the standard Blu-ray disc to be flawless, but you'll be highly disappointed with the audio quality of the 4K disc because it sounds terrible. Not identical to what I heard in theaters at all.
