Works great at starting the car remotely, although we haven't used the phone app. It's very convenient that we can use the original FOB for the car and hit the lock three times to start it, not needing to add the additional remote that came with the system. Be sure to let the installer know ahead of time how long you would like the auto shut-off to be set for as the standard 10 minutes may be too short.

My daughter has had this one for a while and it's still as fast as it was when it was new and the battery life is still excellent. She was disappointed that it didn't have a DVD burner but hasn't needed it. I have 1999 ford f150 truck, manual trans. it says it works with manual trans but the website says it doesn't work with my truck, I'm confused and I don't want to buy it if it isn't going to work.
I'm not positive but I believe the reason is because this system uses several different T-harnesses to connect to the vehicle in which it is installed. The only one they have for Ford/Lincoln products is the THFON2 harness which is only compatible with F-150 from 2015-2016. You should ask to speak directly to the Best Buy Tech that does the installation as he will be more familiar with what he can do, than the guy in the store. I know you can always go to an automotive stereo/alarm store that does their own installation and find one that will work for your 1999 F-150.

I just bought this tv. I have an older cable box that I’m trying to connect it to. The cable box has a coax connection as well as an RCA connection. I bought an HDMI to RCA converter box to try to get an HDMI picture, but no luck. Any help?
Simply use the coax connection on the TV. You could hook the RCA (composite) directly to the back of the TV but there is no benefit to this over the coax. For your best picture you will need to upgrade to a cable box that has an HDMI out, then plug that directly to an HDMI input on the TV.
