I actually preferred the regular Kindle. The larger reading screen was nice but I read a lot on the porch holding the Kindle in my hand and it kept changing pages when the heel of my hand touched the screen. I exchanged it for the mire basic model. Nothing wrong with it just didn’t work for me.

Bought these to replace previous similar set. These do a lot if you want to take the time to set it all up, spam blocking etc. The only thing that the old ones did that was better is the button you need to press to answer doesn’t light up in the dark. The keypad does light up.

Backlight handy

Overall I like this Kindle. I didn’t care about it having a backlight when I bought it but it turns out to be very handy.
The button on the bottom is more recessed than my other Kindle which makes it harder to turn on and off. The page turning doesn’t work as well either. Too sensitive on the edge to your palm and a little hard to make it turn elsewhere.
