Great movie with a nice 4k master and Atmos audio

It's great to see this movie get a 4K treatment. The Atmos audio is great for those who have the setup to appreciate the immersive sound. Some people may not like the some of the darker grains but the front depth of field looks great.
Keep in mind, they're pulling this movie from the 35mm cellulose. But compared to what we had before, this is great.

The quality is okay for Predator 2, but the others do rather well for 4k portrayal.

Episodes 1 through 9 all in a box

There will always be arguments about the Star Wars movies and which ones were good and which ones were bad/horrible. So I will focus on the box set itself.
The black outer box slides open separating from the center. It's 24.5" when wide open and 13" shut. It is 2" thick, which is nice as 9 movies (Steelbooks or not) would take up more room than this one will. Inside is a rectangular book that holds the blu-ray and 4k for each movie per page. 6 pages at the back holds the bonus discs. Each bonus page has a "behind the scene" photo.
What keeps it from being a 5 star review are the "pouches" each disc is in. It takes a bit of effort for them to come out. While they probably won't scratch, you may get your finger prints on the data side of the disc.
Phantom Menace doesn't give me a true 4k feel until you have the close up shots. The rest are definitely 4k appearance on top of the close ups. There is also a signed printed letter from Mark Hamill.
Worth $250? Breaks down to almost $28 a movie, but I think it would be a great deal if you got it at $200- $220.

Just when you thought the franchise had ended

In one sentence.. Alternate universe terminator genisys. I'm not sure if they're trying to reboot the franchise to another version or not but it was entertaining.
As expected, some reusage of classic catch phrases. You also have to continue to suspend disbelief on a few concepts. They do make a distinction between the Ah-nold terminators and this new terminator that explains how another terminator can appear. I'm not sure if they truly left a hook for a sequel to this film but with hollywood, anything is possible.
Lots of good special effects as well has boom booms and pew pews. An okay story line. Nothing super ground breaking. I think you should hold off til the price is in the $17 range or cheaper.

While the enemy is predictably figured out near the start of the film, the path to vindication by Butler's character is fascinating. Plus a few new elements we haven't seen in the first two. Worth buying if you have the first two.

Not the best of the 4 Purge movies

I am a big fan of the Purge movie series. But this one was very weak compared to the previous 3. It was a good idea to try to tell the story of how the Purge was started, but it was a very weak script. Over all it was entertaining on it's own, but when you link it to the other Purge films, it really falls short. If you can get this on sale in the $12 range, then grab it. Otherwise... wait.

Picking up from the first Deadpool movie, all the hyjinx you expect from Ryan Reynolds. There are more pokes at the Xmen as well as more low brow humor that makes Deadpool who he is. DEFINITELY watch to the end of the credits. You will not be disappointed.
The introduction of Domino is great addition to the movie. She is not just a side kick character like the taxi cab driver,Karan Soni. She is a solid character that could even have her own movie if they chose to write her one.
