When I had the generation before I never used it with my new Sony tv because of Dolby vision. Now that I upgraded to this model I only use my Apple TV cause the operating system is super fast and the picture now show Dolby vision bright beautifully! Wednesday on Netflix is an example. It’s not a bright movie but the film is so clear! Also make sure you use the new 4k 120hz hdmi wire 2.1 Also if you use a reciever then that your tv and the wire you buy for your apple tv all have to be hdmi 2.1 (8k-60hz/4k-120hz) this goes for the newest game systems and streamers also not necessarily Apple TV. I think Apple TV still only does 4k-60hz but it still looks amazing!

Cheapest great AVR for 4k 120hz gaming using

I bought this receiver to get 4k at 120hz for my game Xbox series X and it does the trick!
Honestly though I almost returned it lol. You have to figure out all the tweekings for instance you have make sure you use and hdmi 2.1 coming from tvs earc inputs to the recievers earc and out using the recievers 8k slot on game to the Xbox series s. Then on the reciever setting change the 4k to 8k under video then on a Sony tv go to settings and change the hdmi signal format to enhanced format (VRR) and you will be good to go!

Nice but needs lots of tweeking

The tv is nice I’m still trying to work on all the calibration and there is a lot. The problem I have is that you have to calibrate it for every single app. HBO max, Netflix, regular tv, the screen before hbo max. Maaaaaaan. Also to get the most of using this tv with a surround sound system and an Xbox series c or PlayStation with 120 hz I now have to replace my receiver because it can only handle 60hz so until I scramble another $550 for the cheapest 5.2 receiver I won’t know yet what this tv can really do since it goes from tv to surround to speakers. I will say that I noticed this tv with the new E/ARC hdmi port makes my surround speakers sound much much better.
