This device does what it's supposed to do. Which I think is primarily to make money for Apple. If you're getting rid of your headphone jack, you should provide this plug - one both with the headphone jack and a splitter allowing you also to still charge the phone at the same time - with the phone.
I shouldn't need a workaround for an alleged upgrade and improvement to a $1000 device.

Amazing washing machine

There were a few issues getting this delivered, but the delivery and hookup, once finally arranged, were smooth and the Geek Squad crew was friendly and fast.
The washer itself is pretty great. Top washer for small loads is getting lots of use. And the front loader is MASSIVE.
My drier now looks badly outclassed by this Dreadnaught class battle cruiser of a washing machine next to it.
Also, in spite of what looks to be a complex control panel in need of an advanced degree, the whole thing is simple and easy. Press and play.
The washer itself is pretty great. Top washer for small loads is getting lots of use. And the front loader is MASSIVE.

Needed a ring light for my computer for purpose of video conferencing. This was a great option, plus I can have conversations with it (well, I can yell at Google to turn the light on or off, which is just as good).
A bit expensive for the use, but it's also a very bright desk light in its own right, so there's that. AND it'll change colors and hues. So win/win/win.

So... who knew that when covid-19 means that stocks of affordable laptops for business and education would dry up like a blister in the sun? Luckily, there's this smart option over among the gaming laptops. The same specs as the work-appropriate laptop we'd intended to get, but with a pretty great video card and the added feature of a fancy light-up keyboard to impress your virtual officemates, this was a great alternative. I'll likely check the gaming aisle from now on for equivalent options when purchasing new work laptops.
