hi, yes this does have a switch to return to home! I love the smart remote, I heard some say there was a glare to be aware of, I purchased a screen shield (on Amazon) which solved the potential concern. This smart remote is very smart! I would highly recommend. I love everything about it. It is large enough, has great screen quality, easy to access icons on the touch screen, I waited before purchasing a drone till they came out with a smart remote, glad I did!
