So, I can understand and agree times are changing and it needs to be more inclusive, however this movie just wreaked of politics. Further, the handling of Luke Skywalker was terrible, (Hamill even agreed). Not the worst entry in the Star Wars Universe, but definitely not the best. All of the setups in VII were wiped clean in this movie.

Obviously the CGI (mouth) has been talked about at great length. All of the CGI was bad, and the movie was a rushed mess. Very disappointing. Superman was great in it, but overall it was a bad movie.

I saw this on bluray long after it was out in theaters and I heard all of the hype. It was basically the same format as all of the other first entry Marvel movies. A villain with a similar power set (Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, Ant-Man, Captain America, etc...)
The format is tired. The effects were ok. If this were an earlier entry into the Marvel Universe I would have fount it more pleasurable, but seeing it 10 years in with the same tired format it was just more of the same.

I hate writing a bad review against these guys especially since the first one was sooooooo good... but this one is just awful. I don't recall having any serious laughs, nor do I remember any of the lines after the first viewing, unlike when I watched the last one. It felt forced, stale, and super cheap. The production value is terrible.

So, I feel like WB/DC milked us for a second helping. Just 10 years ago or so we got the Superman:Doomsday. This movie is better than the last entry, I just found it interesting that with all of the Superman stories out there they went back to this well.
