I’ve always kept my iPhones in Otter Box cases and I’ve never had any problems. I tried the Commuter case first, which was a little less bulky, but the back of the case felt slick. It was difficult to use the phone with one hand without it feeling like it would slip and fall. The Defender case has more grip in the back and I’ve had no issues with it.

How many satellites do I need for this to work properly?

It’ll depend on the size of your house and what’s in between the satellites such as walls, furniture, etc. One device is supposed to cover 3000 sq ft, but your signal strength will drop the farther you get from it.

Arm your windows and doors with extra security with this Ring Alarm Contact Sensor 2-pack. The easy-to-install monitors sense when a door or window opens, sending an alert directly to your phone or PC with a compatible app. This Ring Alarm Contact Sensor 2 pack works in tandem with Ring Alarm base station (not included) to secure your home.

Can this be used on a sliding door?

Yes, as long as there is room to mount one of the sensors on the fixed part of the door frame and the other one on the sliding door itself. It does not matter which sensor goes on the frame and which one goes on the sliding door.

The Roomba~ i7 robot vacuum unleashes powerful cleaning when, where, and how you want with a single command to your Google Assistant or Alexa voice assistant. When messes happen, just say, ~Tell Roomba to clean under the kitchen table.~ Smart navigation maps specific objects in your home, guiding it to the mess, right when the mess happens. With 10x the suction* and automatic, personalized schedules~even recommendations during pollen and pet-shedding seasons~ its vacuuming that fits seamlessly into your life.

I know that it maps out your rooms, but if it runs into a dog toy or something similar, does it move around the toy and continue? Or does the unit get stuck? Similarly, if I move my coffee table, does it get confused and stop or does it adapt? Thanks!

Depends on the size of the toy or object. If the object doesn't trigger the sensor that says the robot hit something, it will more than likely push the toy until it does hit something. If the toy won't go under the edge of the robot, then it shouldn't suck it up, but that is a possibility again based on the toy size. That isn't much different than a regular vacuum though. As for moving furniture, we sometimes put our table chairs up, and sometimes leave them down, and the robot seems to adjust accordingly to the changes. You do need to be careful with cords on the floor that the vacuum might come in contact with as those can get sucked into the cleaning mechanism. If the robot gets jammed, it will stop and let you know until you clear the jam.
