I am sure this could possibly be a great device but unfortunately was told by the employee that I would need it to hook up my Verizon internet with my own router. Verizon at least in my area doesn't require it, they had everything that I needed to hook up to my router and get my internet running

I bought a gaming router and realized I would have to run it through the Fios router which can increase my ping. I got the MOCA adapter and bypassed Fios router. My ping is better in every test. If you get a 300.00 gaming router and really want to get the full benefit, I would try it with MOCA.
