Required Two Attempts

The dryer vent had to be passed behind the washing machine. This meant that it was necessary to use a periscope adapter to allow for this to be done correctly. We had to have the installers come out twice to address this. Would recommend installers become more familiar with this option.

Appropriate Length of Vent Hose

This vent kit worked well. However, it was necessary to buy a "periscope" adapter so that the vent hose could pass behind the washer and still allow the washer and dryer to be pushed back toward the wall. Installers should have this adapter available for such situations. We required two visits to get this done.

This dryer cord is required for successful hook-up of your new appliance. Our delivery personnel will determine whether a 3- or 4-prong cord is needed based on the outlet behind your existing dryer.

The hoses for the washer are very study and will keep water from escaping. The hoses for the dryer, however, are NOT recommended because the connections are machined too thin and cut into the rubber washer to prevent leakage.
