Yes! As with most subscription services now (WWE Network, Playstation Plus, Malwarebytes Premium, etc), the new subscription gets added onto the end. One thing to remember is, since the activation codes are different, it is best to contact Webroot BEFORE you activate the code. What I did with my son's laptop before he was deployed overseas is I purchased a new code when it was on sale, saved the code at home. Then, when I received the email notification that his current subscription was about to expire, I activated the new code for him, with no issues or interruption. I hope this helps!

I can't speak to Windows XP, but I have this installed on my son's computer. It is an old Gateway that is still running Windows 7, and Malwarebytes has had NO ISSUES running on that system. In fact, two nights ago, he tried to install a Minecraft mod, which Malwarebytes immediately stopped and removed.
