The usual poor quality control translated perfectly to this release. Of the 4 i opened, 3 had large scratches on the back. I guess I'm giving these to family members with a disclaimer. SORRY GUYS AND GIRLS BUT STEELBOOKS SUCK FOR THE PRICE WE PAY

BEWARE NO DTS AUDIO

Excellent picture, but the lack of DTS audio is some kind of sick joke (read on).
I went and looked at the display models and decided the LG G1 65" was the perfect fit to replace my 2 year old LG C9 that was destroyed by a lightning strike / surge. The same quality OLED experience as before but brighter and better! Not to mention the wall mount system it comes with looks very cool!
I took it home the same day, spent several hours getting everything setup including rewiring my 5.1.2 sound system.
Put in a 4K Bluray only to find out this 2 thousand dollar TV doesn't support DTS audio. Lol.
My 500+ Bluray and 4k collection is easily half DTS!
What an absolute shame LG, my C9 from 2019 supported DTS!
I painstakingly removed everything and returned the TV the next day. I will reconsider ever buying an LG product again after this experience.

Why do I spend money on these steelbooks anymore when most of the time they arrive with damage?! As usual poor quality control. Steelbooks arrived with scratches under the plastic wrap! How this gets by the factory is beyond me?! Scratches on front too not pictured! I will be contacting bestbuy by phone to request a partial refund.

I loved Darksiders II even though I never played the original one. I went into this game expecting something similar in the combat aspect and was disappointed. It is almost impossible to not die repeatedly on Apocalypse mode and I don't know if this was the intended purpose or not. The other aspect that is lacking is the auto save feature in game. You can go for over 20 minutes without a save spot and die and lose all of your progress repeatedly, especially on the harder difficulties. I don't feel it is awful, but I know a majority of the community probably hate this aspect of the game.

Almost to perfect because I lost it in my office last week and it was sitting right in front of me. The play looks good to, but I haven't used any of my older records yet because I want to see if any groves get cut from the needle. But so far so good.

It’s been so long since the original trilogy, but I was excited for this. The movie is average and does not live up to the originals, I was so hoping for more. It’s not the actors fault as they are great, it’s the writers fault. As well it felt like they needed to insert their agenda everywhere in the movie.

Guys you are like children complaining that you didn’t get one. If you join the steelbook sub reddit you can keep up on when these go up for preorder. General rule of thumb is preorder instanlty or regret it. The NWH steel was available for a few days when it first went up. There is no point in review bombing a good movie because you decided to wait for the preorder.

Once again, let's release stock randomly several times so that the reddit rolls that have no job other than scalping stuff like this can get 10 of them.
If you release some to stores then you keep that from happening. If you release most of them on release day and limit to one per person it makes it more difficult for the scalpers to get 10 copies like I'm seeing all over ebay.

As much as I enjoy watching HDR movies, is the HP series in 4K HDR really worth the price? The 4K version costs about 3 times more than the 1080p version. Just curious if there is enough visual difference between them to make buying 4K worth the price.

If you have a good enough TV (OLED highly recommended). If your a big fan of HP then it's probably worth it. I personally watched them on my 65" LG C9 and at times it felt as if I was looking through the camera lens. If you have a TV of this calibre you must use disc for the best presentation.
I did not keep this in my collection, but I enjoyed watching them. 4K really breathes new life into movies I've enjoyed in the past.
