The Smart Folio for iPad Pro is constructed from a single piece of polyurethane to protect the front and back of your device. sometimes you have to pay the extra $$…the old saying. you get what you pay for. my other 3rd party were kind of a hit & miss. a well known manufacturer to boot but connectivity sometimes resulted in freeze up or just quit. though apple seems to overcharge (my opinion) most of there products they are certified to simply work.
these cables seem as if for my use, download/upload faster…at least seems that way

I had the silicone case. Was nice but not very efficient for a guy's pocket. Wouldn't slide very easily in or out. And more prone to dropping
This leather case fits like a glove. Feels good in the hand and most importantly, slides in the pocket effortlessly. Bit $$$ but meets my needs. Anything that lowers my blood pressure is always a good thing

Been using this cover with many ipads. cover turns ipad off when closed. Sweet. Nice sleek design that is not bulky. Pretty good as a stand but for sure could be better my opinion. Only as a stand in landscape mode
I probably will not buy again, only because i find myself using portrait mode more and more frequently. Sleek design and removable ease of cover are the absolutes for me Gonna have to hunt around for the portrait stand option
If looking for all around damage protection this would not be a good choice. I believe apple has a decent sleek case for that

I want to buy my husband either an Ipad or Tablet for Christmas but I am confused. He pretty much only needs it to watch his youtube videos at night in bed. We don't need to sign up with a service because he says we have WIFI here. What do you recommend?

If that is pretty much all he wants to do then the "pro" versions would be overkill. Any of the others would be fine. And the wifi only would be just fine. However; if the 12.9" screen is your liking, then this pro version is your only choice. Wifi and minimal storage should be fine
Now that being said...if you use apple iphones any of the ipads would be a perfect fit since apps and usage would pretty much be identical. Even if you don't use iphones would still be fine but tablet would be more user friendly with the android operating system
