Lovely rigid dryer vent

Wow, we could not believe how cool this metal tube is. It came in a box, and when we pulled it out, and it got much longer....don't be fooled by the title, "semi-rigid"...these are not for semi trucks...but they are great for hooking to the dryer vent....But seriously, when you are swapping out your dryer....you should go to the hardware store and buy a dryer vent cleaning kit....about 10 bucks...it has a circular brush that hooks on to your drill with attachable extensions....I thought my vent was clean enough, as I could feel air blowing outside, but my wife complained it was taking too long to dry towels...well she was right...I pulled out a huge pile of dryer lint....not a handful...a small garbage bag full....and now the air really blows through...so invest in the cleaner...it's like an old fashion chimney sweep. And yes, I am, just as the dryer is....FULL OF HOT AIR.

I can't begin to tell you how thrilled we were to see these delightful steel hoses tether our new washing machine to the wall. We called all of our neighbors over to see these two hose beasts. Our last hoses were fine....but with a new washer, they will only install it if you buy all the extra hoses....I saved the last set to use in self defense, just in case we are attacked by feral chickens from the lot behind our house.....they also make for an annoying practical joke....just put one end near your sleeping wife's ear, and they say stupid stuff in a low voice....it works every time...and she still loves me....go figure.
