Yes. However, if you think you would be using them, maybe you should consider a sealed sub. The ports are there to create airflow for the sub. This helps maximize the sound being produced by the unit. The port plugs dulls this unit with a bit, the pb 1000, is not that powerful and really does not pack a wallet. The ports tend to assist in aim the sound toward the listener.

Can you use thesa wireless speakers with any stereo receiver?
No. You really don't want that either. Most receivers push wattage through speaker cables. Most often 12mm sized wires. True sound, uncompressed, need cables to push the exact wattage to each speaker. Without wires, the sound gets compromised. These only work well in small compact areas, like a bedroom, where you are not expecting too much power, and just a bit of 5 channel simulation.

These speakers do not come with the stands. However, you most likely would not like the cheap stands a SPEAKER manufacturer would provide. However, best buy sells speaker stands for any budget. I chose the Sanus - 28" to 42" Adjustable Speaker Stands (Pair) and they work magnificently. They were around $70 dollars to purchase, and they are easily hidden in corners or behind furniture. I use them in my bedroom, and they nestle quite nicely behind the nightstands.

Unfortunately, these can only be hooked up to the soundbar with the included dongle. The speakers only "speak" to the Klipsch soundbars. It definitely would be cool if they could be added to other existing home theater setups, after all, who wants that many wires? Those who want the best quality sound will tell you that you need the wires because they support the quality sound that the receivers are processing. Anything wireless or Bluetooth enabled tends to lose quality because the sound is not be transmitted directly. These are a perfect addition to a soundbar in a bedroom where you just want a virtual surround simulation. or you have a small space where wires cannot be hidden in the walls, or cannot handle a large system.

My TV audio runs through an amp that is sited in another room. Audio comes through ceiling and wall mounted surround sound speakers. Can I plug the base into the amp jack and watch the tv in another room. Can you only listen if wearing headphones
Attach the RF tower to the TV via the digital optical cable. As long as your tv runs to your receiver by way of arc, you should be able to turn of your surrounds, and shift the TV’s audio output. This should allow you to use the headphones without having the surround sound blasting as well.
