I have not seen the anime first off, so I can’t compare the story to the original (I would like too). As with most movies today, everything is PG-13, I think an R rating would have helped this movie. The acting was okay, as were the special effects. The story was fine, but the pacing and the wonderment this world should have had was just lacking. If you can get it for cheap (I got it for 5$) I would say go for it.
