For context, I am a huge F. Scott Fitzgerald fan and the Great Gatsby is in my top 10 favorite books. That being said, I did not really care for the movie. It wasnt bad but average and didnt live up to my high expectations.

Don't understand the hate, gotta admit. I am a huge fan of comic book movies and older comics and was entertained by the movie. I know some people don't like the gender switching but it didn't bother me as I didn't consider Captain Marvel as one of my favorite characters growing up. Movie is light and easily rewatchable. I was entertained!

Great movie with improved picture

Great movie! Has all the makings of a good movie: story, acting, character development. As far as the picture is concerned, picture quality is improved with better clarity and color. Use of HDR seems a little sparse as the movie takes place in the 1940's and it is meant to look older. A few softer shots with Glenn Close and the grain can be a little heavy but still good. Highly recommended.
