I would recommend anyone purchasing a big ticket item to purchase "geek squad " extended warranty. When my tv broke I called them , they gave me a date and time when they would be at my house, and the service technicians were very polite and covered their shoes so as not to bring in any dirt . Very considerate .

So we recently purchased the GFE28GYNFS model and had it installed. It makes such a loud noise when not making ice, but just running, Is that normal? Our previous GE didn’t do that until it was almost on it’s last leg. So you can imagine our concern.
