Let the Lock begin

I have been waiting to purchase this lock for a year now, and I finally have it installed. I say that because there was a lot of issues with the lock bolt.
If you have a metal door, the bolt that is included will not fit, and that is because the bolt that is included has a non-removable latch. You will need to purchase a the correct bolt through NEST YALE.
Once you have all of the correct parts, the bolt works pretty good. I've noticed that the bolt snags up on the strike plate in the door jam. You will need to make sure that everything is lined up just right. I will need to get out the dremel and take a little of the strike plate down just a tad in order for it to lock correct.
With already having a previous security lock installed, the screw holes are off so slightly, and you can't move the strike plate over because the current screw holes are already there, and all you'll do is make the current screw holes bigger, and then your really in trouble. So just do what you can to shave a little off of the strike plate.
