I hate Best Buy quality control

The first time I received this item the disc was loose and scratched. The Steelbook cover had scratches all over it. Returned and reordered and it came again with a loose disc but this one wasn’t damaged. As far as the movie goes it was 6.5/10. I liked two heroes better.

The primary reason to get this display is for its theoretical HDR support using the Full Array Local Dimming that the screen should be capable of. These primary features either do not work entirely, or do not work with specific sets of hardware of configurations. In my case I am using the screen with an RTX 3090.
When the monitor is in SDR mode it is a capable SDR screen, but once you enable HDR everything goes out the window. Colors, of both SDR and HDR content become washed out and the backlight exhibits strange behavior with SDR content. Dark banding along the edges of windows which shifts as they move, mouse cursor that doesn't get any backlight and becomes almost indistinguishable in dark areas.
If this was only an SDR screen, then it would be great, and it should also cost at least $1000 dollars less.

This film and adaptation of the Frank Herbert classic which itself is far ahead of it's time is truly epic and sweeping in every way as it certainly deserves. Including and in no way limited to the liberties taken that pervades this current society zeitgeist to implement flagrant and aggressive quotas in so much as altering specific indications and in essence rewriting history artistically and politically, misappropriation in fiction and non alike. Connoesseur's and devout nerds shall recognize right away. Otherwise this reviewer has no complaints. Villanueva's rendition including metaphorically and pun or not, heavyweight, heavy hitting actors and music composer included. It is grand in every way and in spirit and style true. It is also a much overdue successor to David Lynch's masterpiece which nearly 40 years ago in and of itself was greatly under appreciated and like the book, certainly ahead of it's time and highly applicable if not a bit misunderstood and under comprehended. Buy and watch this now on huge screen, ultra high def, high frame rate, thumping surround sound. Must have for deployment of justice! 11 out of 10 stars!

I have purchased every MCU steelbook by preordering and i have checked Best Buy daily since January and it always said Coming Soon. Since yesteday it is noe Sold Out. Im giving a one star for not making the purchase available to everyone.

Why don't they release these films in 3D format for the use consumer? The movie is shown in 3D at the theatres but they have stopped putting them out on Blu-Ray 3D why? Please don't say it's because home 3D is bad. Good or bad some people have home 3D.
