This is a good, convenient rodent. I love the fact that I can use it with my computer and very easily switch to use it with my Galaxy Tab S7+. It gives me basically all the same functionality on any device.

The quality of the image, 4k and HDR really make a great experience with this movie looks very detailed and sharp. Dark scenes are not grainy at all, and bright scenes are beautiful to watch.

This a reliable charger, like most universal chargers are but this one in particular is very bulky and overall, seem like they didn't spent enough time thinking about the user experience. Is heavy enough to be unplugging itself from a wall outlet and be ready to keep checking if is still plugged in.
I would not recommend it based solely on the design.

Is a screen required? Or can I just project off a wall?
While you can project it to a wall, the experience will vary. If your wall has too much texture or is not perfectly flat, you will be able to see distortion on the image. Also, the color and shine of your wall has a lot to do with the contrast you will get from this projector. If it's a white wall, most likely you will loose most of the contrast.
Notice the 2 example on how I used it before installing the screen. 1 is one white wall with so many imperfections and the other one is on a Ivory color, window shade (transformers image) notice how, even though is not a special screen, it does give you better contrast due to the material and color.
