Insignia washer had smell

I'm giving this machine a lower star rating.Due to a smell The washer had. The machine worked properly but the smell never went away. It was like a match or chemical smell. I bought it new and like the "new" smell never went away. It is being returened and Best Buy is bringing a new machine.
