Look, it's Alien... in 4K. What more do you want?
This movie is every bit as amazing as it was when it was released. The tension, the fear, the exasperation. It is all there, except now it is in glorious 4K HDR. The sound, sadly, has not been upgraded, and uses the same DTS:HD 5.1 that was used in previous Blu-Ray release. It's not bad, but it would sound amazing in DTS:X or Dolby Atmos.
Still, Alien in 4K. 'nuff said.

I haven't seen Field of Dreams since it was released. I was pleasantly surprised to see it still held up well. The 4K HDR really shines in the Iowa landscape scenes.
If you love baseball and are willing to believe, this is a great movie.

Let's be honest, the DTS:X, while excellent, is not needed on such a dialogue heavy film. It's not like there are special audio effects where you really get to hear things happening overhead or behind you. The 4K picture is gorgeous and a noticeable improvement over the standard Blu-Ray.
The Big Lebowski is a quirky and off-beat movie. If you like those types of movies, you'll find this to be a hilarious joy ride.

Starting to jump the shark

I enjoyed John Wick immensely. John Wick 2 was really good, too. This movie has great action and a very fast tempo, but it goes beyond straining credibility to becoming completely unbelievable.
It gets 4 stars overall, but loses one star for going too far beyond what can be considered possible. He's still human, not a superhero.

I had the Harmony 950, which worked great, but then I rearranged my home theater components, and in the new configuration, none of the components were visible. This meant that the 950 could not see them via IR. I bought the Harmony Hub, put it in view of the components, and ran the IR sensor to where the 950 could see it. It literally worked perfectly the first time. If anything, the 950 is more responsive with the Harmony Hub installed, than when it directly communicated with the various components. Highly recommended product.
