Still need to wait for the first two, three patches to really get a feel for the game. So far my complaint is the same as it is every year with Madden: There's no difference between the best and worst teams when playing on the all-madden skill level.
I'm a big fan of sports games, and love the franchise modes in each more than anything. When I play NBA 2k, and match up against, say the Celtics, while controlling a lesser team like the Knicks, I struggle. Even when I build my team up, it's a challenge when you play the league's best teams. When I play lesser teams like the Nets, I beat up on them. You can tell the difference between the best and the worst.
I still don't get that feeling with madden. The same dinking & dunking the Browns drive the field with is exactly how the Patriots run their offense. Disappointing.
But this is the only NFL game on the market. So I, and everyone else, will still pay & play.

I can't say enough about this game. Really enjoying it. The realism and time the designers spent in making New York realistic is stunning. Love swinging around and finding the little easter eggs, too (Nelson & Murdock offices). Haven't completed game yet, but it's because I'm taking my time. Absolutely recommend to any marvel/spiderman fan.
