It's time for Eastwood to hang it up..(no pun intended) This extremely mediocre, soap operatic and meaningless film is an 88 year old's ego trip and nothing more. Although it claims to be "adapted" from a true story, that does NOT make it a TRUE story. The story of an aging drug mule who still thinks he is hot stuff is asinine. Between that idiotic premise..(and his character is TOO stupid to realize this 1st time out, DUH) and the overwrought family melodrama, this was just a waste of time. Some nice scenery to look at, but the story, the acting, the situations, the general plot is mindless. So many better movie to see I would never advise anyone to go out of their way for this one. Sorry Clint, the sun has set on your movie career. Aging star power when the bulb is out. Pretty dismal.

I never saw the other versions of this film, so this was brand new for me. Overall, well made, well directed and acted. Rather a soap opera premise though, and the overt abundance of foul language really seemed over the top for me, as well as it's obvious ending. I can't hate the film, I would recommend to a spec idic audience, but considering ALL the praise this received, I must admit I was looking for something far superior.

Very good adaptation of the Dr Suess book, and for me, far better than the Carrey live action film. Looks great on 4K, and this film has a lot of fun scenes, and it def bright and colorful. Great family film. I have to be honest though to say that the original TV Classic with the voice of Karloff will forever be the best version of this title, but of the remakes that have been done since, this is the 2nd best.

Terrific box set of the Bourne films in stunning 4K. The first 3, especially the ULTIMATUM are superb, the 4th with Renner is lackluster, and Jason Bourne was a bit of a letdown. However, for the price and the quality of the films, well worth the purchase. I watch th first 3 a bunch of times, and leave the others. It's still a bang for the buck. Great purchase.

A bizarre tale of Princess Anne and her relationship with 2 women, battling for her attention, and perhaps her power. Oscar winner Olivia Colman great in lead performance, and Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz awesome in support. Visually stunning, sometimes bizarre and comic but always interesting, this was certainly a worthy candidate for the Oscar nominations it received. Curious finale, but def worth a look.
Bohemian Rhapsody is an enthralling celebration of Queen, their music, and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury, who defied stereotypes and convention to become one of history's most beloved entertainers. Following Queen's meteoric rise, their revolutionary sound and Freddie's solo career, the film also chronicles the band's reunion, and one of the greatest performances in rock history.

Awesome film and the life of Queen musician Freddie Mercury with a great Oscar winning performance by Rami Malek in the lead role. The file starts a bit slowly, but juices up quickly in it's 2nd half and becomes a very powerful, dramatic and involving story of this talented, by sadly doomed singer. Final sequence done at the Live Aid benefit in 1985 is brilliantly re-created and the music is great!! A real tribute and something more. Def a movie to see.

Carlin was always a master of this type of raunchy, but deliberate and socially conscious comedy. Even thought his jokes seemed simple enough, they always hit at larger and RELEVANT issues. This ws standard throughout his long and superb career. This box sets shows a ton of his great..(and some less than great) comedies, but as we watch, we can see the change and maturation of this comedian. He never lost his heart, and his strong viewpoints on issues of importance. You can roll in the aisle and laugh, and think to. That's what made him so special. I doubt they'll be another quite like him. This set is a great way to see how this master of comedy transformed over the years. Def recommended.

I had high hopes for this one. It started great, first 25 minutes, or so, exciting, edgy, interesting, it then turns into the simply stabbing blood bath we all expect with Michael even killing a child!! (If you can believe that!!). At that point I was bored, and then the obvious ending, really isn't an ending, leaving open more sequels. Oh, please. Jamie Lee Curtis was quite good, and I had high hopes she was going to kill him once and for all and end it, but sadly, for cheap Hollywood with no imagination, a ripe sequel that can't pass up on. Too bad, could have been something special, instead just another (and soon to be another and another) slasher film.

What seemed as a great premise just degenerates downward, and rather quickly. Ford is the right choice at the President, and Gary Oldman is always a great actor, but the situation becomes tedious and silly, and the grand finale of this mess is such an embarrassment of a ridiculous situation, and awful special effects, it is beyond laughable. If you want a movie to talk back to the screen to, this is the one. Basically stupid and disappointing considering the talents involved.

Based on the Stephen King book, John Carpenter's version of Christine is a lot of fun for fans. A young man's obsession with his car named Christine is the catalyst for a change in personality, and exacting revenge on those who come between them. Well crafted and acted, this is def one of the better films used a King novel. Recommended strongly.
