The paddles were not making contact with the buttons on the controller so I did an exchange. So far the second set are working properly. I try to handle them with care as they are made of a weak plastic as I fear the contacts may break on these as well with more use. I have used the second set for one adult sitting of Mario Kart while taking care of the controllers. :/
