This is a solid piece of furniture. Assembly is time-consuming but pretty straightforward, but you'll definitely want a second pair of hands to help once it start's coming together- it's heavy! It looks nice and serves our purposes.

Flawed/dated creature design hampers presentation

It's as good a package as you could want. The image for a film of this vintage is astounding and the music is perfect accompaniment. Production design, costumes and direction are outstanding. The design of the monster hampers its effectiveness and it's hard to make a judgement on the acting as a result, but if you're a silent film fan, you have to see it at least once. I'm glad to have this edition.

I love it. Sound quality is excellent with plenty of depth and clear high end. For the price, this is well worth it. I'm sure some high-end folks will cluck their tongues and shake their heads and wonder what's to be done with this clown recommending an entry-level speaker, but combined with the Core series bookshelf speakers (which I also recommend unreservedly) this adds to a solid 5.1 system.
