For the Pro doorbell - You MUST have a 16v 30a doorbell tranformer - If you do not the pro doorbell will not function correctly - best buy should start stocking these if theyre smart - app is simple and effective - great picture - neighborhood alerts are great! & ring's customer service is outstanding!

I set up up my solar panel to ring spotlight cam. Every since then it has been making a loud static noise, Is that normal or is it defected?
It may not be plugged in all the way.. I noticed on mine, once inserted, it needed a little extra push to lightly snap into place. Or the wire/cord is running next to another wire/cord and picking up interference. It is possible it is defective. But, I've always had good luck with my ring devices, never had a bad one outta the box. (knocks on wood)

Will this doorbell mount on an uneven stone exterior?
my kit came with 2 adapters.. a wedge for an up or down feature.. and a side angle mount wedge.. my doorbell was between 2 pieces of siding.. i just sanded down the wedge to fit flush between the differnt level surface's. now agaisnt stacked stone or stucco.. that'll be a bit tougher.. but with the mounts and mabey some silicone or foam... it could mount fairly flush.. just be sure its weather proof.. wouldnt want any water getting inside..
